Anyone out there have a favorite period/type/region of art they love? Or individual artists?
I really like Post-Impressionism- and Impressionism to a lesser extent. Northern Renaissance art is beautiful too.
Favorite artists: Rembrandt, Magritte, Van Gogh, and Renoir.
Anyone want to talk art with me?

Just Tsuki i love Pre-Raphaelite art, mainly Rossetti and Waterhouse (pref. his later works). heart Oh Pre-Raphaelite art is beautiful. I'd forgotten about them- probably because they tend to get glossed over in Art History courses- but I like their work too.

I love most art, the only art I don't really like when there is no actual picture, such as the work done by Pollack or the random shapes and lines. Some of my favorite artists are John William Waterhouse, Vincent Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, Gustav Klimt, and Salvador Dali.
