Guh, I know. Shawn's vulnerableness made me happier than I could've thought it would - especially after I'd been waiting for it forEVER hoping it wasn't nearly as emo as like, fanfiction would like to portray him. D: I hate fans sometimes. Why must they stab good characters in the eye with their knives of angst?

HENRY. IS FTW. <3 And showing up Lassie was amazing, because it's clearly in the genes of a Spencer to make Lassie look like a failure. xD Poor Lassie-face. D:

Guuuuuh. Everyone else caring and making it personal was like, them making scared face (omfg, I love Gus's worried about Shawn being shot face. <3 I wanted to snug him. D: ). But Lassie doesn't DO THAT so he just gets loud for no reason: "IF I WANTED TO PLAY GUESSING GAMES GUSTER" < Lawl, wtf, Lassie. Calm yourself. <3 And calling him Shaaawn. (I think Lassie already started calling Papa Spencer "Henry" back in their bonding with fish episode, and only uses it when it's not all "respect in public" and "professional". xD) AND THE JULIET PART, because she was worried, and he <3s his partner and caaaares that she iiiiis.

Guh. Lassie is so everyone's BFFL whether he likes it or not. razz


OH. I LOVE THESE OTHER THINGS ALREADY.

That. Right there. With the buckle? My favorite part. My first thought "Oh, good, I was worried there wouldn't be any mandhandling in this Lassie-filled episode. xD" (seriously. no sarcasm at all. I didn't realize UNTIL he did it that it was lacking some serious Lassie grabbing Shawn semi-violently in an almost random moment for reasons that elude me. razz Then I went "OH, THERE IT IS.") <3

LOL. I love Henry, and I think he's a nutter but a good daddy - but that's borderline abuse right there. xD Sometimes I understand why Shawn resents the poor guy. xDDD <3

Henry was just RIGHT UP in Lassie's business. Don't ******** with a man who's son's in danger. D:

I KNOW. I sometimes love Shawn. He has this thought process BEYOND what we see, which is abnormal to me, so I'm always like "What are you doing? D:" because most characters are transparent. But nope. It's a pattern, see. If he's in some trouble or just needs something or just a friend, he of course calls Gus. <3 If he needs something Gus doesn't have, he calls Henry. If he needs someone to believe in him almost unconditionally, and trust him at his word and get s**t done, he calls Jules.
BUT. When he's in DANGER. And needs a heeeero. XD LASSIE. YUP. (It's not like Jules isn't a cop to. razz That's just my thoughts on THAT.) ...xD Shawn just knows what everyone is most useful for. Which. Is somewhat horrible. xD I love him.

THE SLOWMO BULLETS. Erm. xD I figure that was just for dramatic effect and he was just shocked? I hope he didn't see the bullet slowmo. xD It didn't seem to have any relevance other than he realized "Oh, ********. I'm being shot at." xD So I like to think it was a weird artistic choice. BUT HEY. IF SHAWN CAN? BADASS.

Lassie and Henry are adorable. I like "D: IT'S LIKE WORKING WITH SHAWN." And Henry "SHUT UP AND FOLLOW ME YOU PANSY." and Lassie's face was like "...Except you're just a little less friendly. xP"

Shawn was pretty badass on that hood. I LOVED. THAT GUS. XD AND LASSIE. Had the most screwed up priorities. LOL. "DO NOT JUMP ON THIS CAR, SHAWN." Shawn was like "D: ******** you, Lassie. I'm jumping on your car. I'm SHOT. OKAY?" XD And then proceeded to take down a truck from the hood of it. Shawn could've been a pretty kickass cop. xD And Lassie acknowledged thaaat.

LAAAASSSIE. <3 Shawn's just bad on his ego, is all. xD

Omfg, I know what you mean. xD I don't have it all in my brain either, but I certainly loved the jokes, and Shawn's huffy voice, and Lassie's seemingly out of shape-ness, and Gus's pajamas.

And goddamn Shawn not realizing Jules loves him. D: I don't want them to hook up, but. I LOVE HER. DON'T MAKE HER CRY. D: WHAT THE HELL, NOW. Shawn's a dumbass. razz

It's funny, I've been obsessing and re-reading fanfiction and then just decided to go watch Gus Walks Into A Bank.

xD I think if Lassie Did A Bad, Bad Thing wasn't my fav ep, THAT ONE WOULD BE IT.

This finale though? IT COMES IN THIRD, FOR SURE. *flails*

Yes! Shawn isn't ANGSTY, he just has normal people issues, the he self-importantly will sometimes think worse than other peoples, but he's not like "WAH, MAH LIFE." Damn fic writers. gonk

Shawn's a crazy b***h, because Henry is the best daddy in the world and Shawn's LUCKY to be loved by a parent so much. XD Heeeenry. <3

I like when Lassie gets to be a badass. (which is what Lassie Did A Bad, Bad Thing was. Drimmer cold-cocked Shawn and held him hostage in Lassie's apartment, and texted Lassie there - cause he was going to kill them both and leave a note making it look like a murder-suicide and that Lassie and Shawn were ex-lovers. BEST, should not have been cut line being: "I would like to make it clear, it was Lassie who pursued me!" Aw, Shawn. xD)

We dooo all do that. Shawn just seems to do it more because that's just the type of person he is. But he picks out of them because they're the ones he luffs most in the whole wide world. *squishes the Psych cast together* biggrin

HE DID, THOUGH. HE DID. He was drunk and told Shawn "You astound me" and so on. xD And you know, nearly fell out of his chair and Shawn had to catch him by the arm. And it was really sweet, because it seems like Shawn takes ANY chance to pick on Lassie, but when Lassie was actually all vulnerable and honest and sad about that b***h wife of his - Shawn DIDN'T mock him for it later. <3 Because Shawn's actually a piece of fluff. *pokes* <3 biggrin

Shawn is so his father. XD Just with a little rebellious SPICE mixed in. ;D (Uncle Jack, anyone? xD)

Omfg, I LOVE Shawn and Gus and GUS especially, how serious situations can turn into really random, childish dorky convos and you're like "...YOU'RE TIED UP AND SHOT, AND THIS IS WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT? XD"

Psych...would be awkward with canon dating between the main cast. D: Well, actually, it'd be awkward Juliet/Shawn, mainly. Why do I say this? Because it's the most obvious and cliche thing if they hook up soon and you could see it come from lightyears away, and that doesn't really feel very Psych-like. They're more about the random and the unexpected and the silly! I like them JOKING about ships. biggrin That's always fun.

They're just so much like a family/friend thing that. xD I dunno how I'd feel if it suddenly happened. Meh, I say. MEH.

I can honestly say though, I love EVERY character. Which is rare. <3 And strangely, I'm not fascinated MOST by the main character. xD I'm very "main character" "hero" kinda person. Which is why I liked Dean most over Sam. (though, now I'm a Cas person. Hm. Maybe I'm changing!) So it's weird that even though Shawn is AWESOMELY FANTASTIC AND WONDERFUL AND I LOVE HIM DEARLY, my fangirlish heart belongs to Lassiter, and I'd totally bear his children if it were actually possible and if he'd let me. razz

So Jules and Shawn...maybe later. Fortunately, the writers and actors agree, and are a little "Hmmm" on the subject still, which is why it's being drug out. Because they KNOW it's so obvious. XD

And that's not a bad thing. xD I only know my favorites. ;D Or one's I JUST looked at the title of on my DVDs or something.

Gus Walks Into A Bank is the one where Gus gets held hostage in a bank and Shawn ends up taking over the hostage situation and calling all the shots from inside xD And then my favorite part was when he told Lassie to "grab life by the little Lassiter's" and even said "I know you don't like my methods. I know you don't like me" (yes he does, Shawn. D: Shut you lying mouth) XD And tries to convince him to run off in the van and take over the investigation secretly with him and win against the lame SWAT guy. AND MY FAVORITE PART XD Was Lassie shutting the door quietly and Shawn getting frustrated and then instead Lassie says "you take shotgun" and Shawn literally JUMPED WITH JOY and was all "You are SO sexy right now" and was flailing around and ran to get Jules to go with. XD I <3'd that.

And I already told you the other one at the beginning of the post. xD


I was reading a fanfic the other night, and it was LONG AS HELL and it was ANGSTY and DARK and BRAIN-MELTING xD and someone in the comments tried to justify them going somewhat OOC by saying:

"It's okay, because the characters in the show are 2D and you added to what we know."

First of all - they were justifying the worst sex scene ever. And in NO situation, even with never seeing Shawn in a relationship, can I imagine him so ********' whiny and babyish and oh-woe-is-me and that bullshit. xD HE'S MAN. A FULL GROWN, SNARKY-a**, RELATIVELY INTELLIGENT MAN. Childish, maybe. But not a literal CHILD.

Sorry. Anyway. What struck me as WEIRD was this:

...D: I never thought they were 2D characters. Not for a second. I think they're some of the best characters on television. o.O; Maybe I'm retarded. xD But I don't think so. razz
