Wish Upon a Shooting Star~!

October 14th - 27th

Every night, between 6PM and 6AM game time "hundreds of fiery, wild shooting stars" will fall from the heavens.

Follow the trails of the meteors and you will find a piece of Shooting Star Fragment.

Right-click the fossil and choose "Use" to start the Fossil Restoration minigame. Complete it successfully to receive a Star Candy.

Tips:

* "Outline" the star shape as close as you can with the biggest eraser, then quickly erase the remaining outside area. If you have time left over, then fine-tune the outline with a smaller brush. You have around fifteen to twenty seconds to clear away as much dirt as you can.

* Avoid damaging the star! You have a better chance of succeeding with more dirt than if you have more damaged red areas.

Collect 12 Star candies and enchant them into a book purchased from Belita, Alexina, or Shenon

How to restore

"Use" The Shooting star fragment

User Image

Quickly erase all the dirt surrounding the star shape in the middle using the tools at the top. (Most people say to use the small or middle to outline and the big one for the remaining sides, but since I've been using the big one for everything, I haven't messed up a single fragment. :O)

User Image

Word of advice: DO NOT "Use" The star candy. You will eat it and not be able to collect it after. You get this cute little friend (Not sure how long it lasts for) but do it with your doubles if you're going to.

User Image

Simply pick up the star candy and place it on the book to collect it.

Zombie attack
October 21st, 2009 - November 3rd, 2009
* Use melee attacks for Male Zombies, and magic or ranged attacks for Female Zombies.
o Using the wrong type of attack will result in only 1 damage.
o Attacks will not knock back these zombies.
* Kid Zombies blow up upon reaching the flag.
o Kill the Kid Zombies first because of their fast speed. They are weak to melee attacks.
* Volatile Zombies have Self-Destruct.
* Save your transformations until the large waves of zombies at 12:00AM.
* After midnight, the zombies begin to spawn in large groups so it's best to use AoE attacks such as Windmill, advanced magic, Spirit incarnations, Elven magic missile, Mirage missile, and rank 5+ magnum shot, rank 5+ smash, or lightning bolt.
* At 12:00am, the King Zombie will spawn near one of the three gates (North-East, North-West, South). It has a 100% drop rate of a Jiang Shi Hat when defeated, and it'll go to the first person who inflicted damage on him.
* If your team fails you can still try to get points on different channel that has yet to fail.
o Points stay on the channel they are earned on even if you disconnect or change channels. [Ex. Points earned on ch 5 do not move to ch 6 when you change channel. If you move back to ch 5 the points you had previously earned on that channel will remain unless The Provisional Camp was reset.]
* You also will not receive the 100 points for surviving if you are not specifically at the fort when 6:00AM hits [Ex. you will not get points if you are in Qilla Base Camp].
* You must get at least one point in order to receive the 100 points for surviving.
o Meaning, if you just sit there for the night and do absolutely nothing, even if the camp survives, you won't get 100 points.

Info:

Hear ye, hear ye, the church of Lymilark has confirmed there’s a miracle in Iria! A tree, near the Qilla Base camp, which has recently been seen glowing at night, grants wishes! Visitors who’ve written their wishes on pieces of paper, then attached them to the branches of the tree, have reported that their wishes have come true! At midnight, they say, the tree undergoes a divine transformation, and the wishes detach themselves and float up into the skies of Rano.

Wishes can be written on any old piece of paper, but there’s one kind of paper that holds an intense power that the tree seems to respond to best. They’re called Wish Notes, and adventurers have confirmed that they’re found in treasure chests all across Rano and Connous. Dedication is rewarded, even by a Wishing Tree. A special item will be granted to anyone who attaches fifty Wish Notes to the tree.

Travel to Iria and check out the Wishing Tree for yourself!

How to:

-+- Wish notes are found via L-rod exploration in chests all over Iria. They take up 1x1 space and can stack to 10.

-+- Once you have obtained 50, you can gift them to the wish tree in exchange for a prize. (Important note: All 50 must be gifted at the same time; therefore you must have 5 empty inventory slots to complete this event.)

-+- The wish tree is located just north west of the mana tunnel right outside the Quilla Base camp in Iria.
