HAIR: Raven black, thick, straight and long. Reaches to mid-waist.
SKIN: Pale, with a touch of bronze that hints at Asian descent.
BODY: 5'5", slender, almost delicate.
wears whatever clothing suits the role she is currently portraying, though has a tendency towards darker or vibrant colors.
when not concentrating, Akane moves silently, smoothly, and has a knack for standing absolutely still.

TRAITS: distant, logical, chameleon-like, reserved, haughty.

ATTRIBUTES:
Akane has been trained almost from birth to blend into her surroundings, and can easily take on the most suitable personality and role to fit her needs. This makes it difficult to find her 'true' nature, and even Akane herself isn't always sure about who she is underneath it all.
Thanks to her profession, Akane is always supremely aware of her surroundings and the movements of those around her, and has an amazing capacity to remember events and places that she has been to or studied.
She is serious almost to a fault, rarely finding humor in any situation and rather taking everything at face values. She believes in relying on facts.
Contrary to her stubbornly practical nature, Akane believes in angels, and attributes much of her luck and success to their interference in her life.
Having been isolated for most of her life, Akane is very solitary by nature, and though she is able to adapt quickly to become sociable when necessary, she prefers to be alone and do things through her own power.

Raised from a very small age by her shifu, Akane was taught and trained to be a thief once she became old enough to accompany her master on trips into and out of houses and various other locations. It is the life that she was brought up to, and has now settled comfortably into. While she no longer works with her shifu, who was one of the best cat burglars in his time, she, too, has managed to make a name for herself in the shady underground community as a very good professional.
-------- BACKGROUND
Akane has never met her mother, and can only remember her shifu, one of the best thieves in his time. Though he raised and taught her, he never showed her any affection, and it was only upon his death - he was old, and succumbed to cancer that wasn't discovered until it was too late - that she was told, at the age of 15, that he was her true father. The news did not mar her respect of her master/father, as Akane had never been taught about the familial bonds of affection and friendship. It also did not change the fact that whatever it was that he had taught her, was enough to become completely self-sufficient and independent.
While she did attempt to work at various 'normal' jobs during her late teens and early twenties, they were never quite as challenging and fascinating as the profession that she had been taught from childhood, and eventually Akane gave up on being a respectable citizen, reverting easily back into the underground life. Over the recent years, she began making a name for herself as a professional cat burglar, though many clients were, and still are, wary of her due to her youthful appearance and gender.
