So... this summer that I went to the states I couldn't help but buy THESE leggings:
http://www.express.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=21267&parentCategoryId=2&categoryId=28&subCategoryId=100
I loved them, spazzed, and had to have them lol.
Now I just can't find anything that goes with them! They're so shiny, that some shirts are too attention calling and they look too "disco" with. Aaaagh! and they cost quite a bit too, I feel so sad leaving them in my closet hanging like that. Any ideas? [pictures of what could go with it would be better].
Stupid compulsive buy.
I wish you could enviro people gonk

maybe wear it with a long shirt / sweater dress? something plain, simple and not too flashy, to contrast with the leggings. [X] [X] [X]Most of those samples are pictured with tights rather than leggings, but I think sweater dresses look nice with leggings underneath. Sorry if I'm not much help!

Hmm I actually do see it working out with those sweater like dresses. I have a shirt that's like a sweater but it's black so I'm not sure. Sadly I don't have any dresses like that cause of the weather here D:.
But thanks! I think maybe I got a slight idea of what it could do with ^^

Blazer: $39.50, Old Navy Dress: $31.86, New LookBelt: $7.96, Dorothy PerkinsBoots: $310, Top ShopNecklace: $4.80, Forever 21Ring: $3.80, Forever 21The boots are darker black, but my copy and paste somehow alters the color. I paired your tights with a plain tunic dress and a blazer (it's pinned in the back and would normally slouch), but a jacket would also worked. Because I chose neutral colors, I added a pop of pink to make it a little more interesting. I like ankle boots this season, but they can be flat or heeled, with or without studs, etc.

I do too! I know they're kinda price-y, but I was looking for some similar ones and all the returned data was from some shady sites. So, I decided to go with Top Shop. wink
I really love those leggings -- I'd probably have done the same thing you did and just bought them without thinking of what I had to match them (something I do all the time).

Lovebot's got the right idea yo.
Maybe when it comes to makeup, try something slightly dark. Not too dark or too light. You probably shouldn't use greens or purples (eyeshadows) if you're gonna wear an outfit like lovebot's.
Just throwing that out there.

Basically, as with any leggings, you want to wear a really really long blouse or a short dress/skirt over them (I think it looks kind of trashy when girls wear shirts that don't quite cover their butt with leggings, but that's just me). You'd want it to be a very matte, solid color top, to offset the shininess of the leggings. Bright colors would be good as well, to offset the black <3
