Science Fiction Roleplay
Story
A bright, distant star rises in the night sky. At first, nothing more than a gently pulsing star about five times as big as any other object in the sky, save for the moon. However, in the passing of mere minutes the object becomes a strobing giant, quickly alerting the people of Earth.
They are called the Vuruda. A race of bipedal humanoid creatures bent on expansion. Coming from a distant solar system where each habitable planet is under their control, the Vuruda have launched a campaign. They care not of the species they conquer. They seek only wealth, prestige, and a free workforce. . . Slaves.
The Vuruda wars lasted no more than a few months. With technology far more advanced than our own, those who resisted were either killed, forced to surrender, or went into hiding. Those who were killed were left to rot. Those who surrender were taken as prisoners and treated harshly. Those who hide were found and shackled and put to work.
Many Human remained on Earth as pets to the Vuruda, however, the majority were shipped off to their home planet of Kalu and put to work. There were jobs, of course, a human was not permitted to perform. Anything to deal with weapons, obviously, and most mechanical work. However, after a few years the Humans had proven to be an effective working unit and were allowed to do almost anything the Vuruda did. This did not bother the Master Race, however. They were a very lazy people, and not having to work was a blessing. . . But it would soon become a curse.
Kalu's gravity was much less intense than that of Earths. The planet itself was larger, but it's massive was much, much less. Humans on Kalu could jump much higher, move faster, and move objects they otherwise would be unable to on Earth. When the Humans rebelled, the Vuruda were in for the fight of their lives. . . And if you know anything about humans, which the Vuruda did not, you can well imagine what was in store for them!
Plot
Welcome to The Rising! This Roleplay takes place on Kalu, the home planet of the Vuruda. Kalu is larger than Earth, roughly 75% ocean, 25% land. Though it is larger than Earth, the total mass is much less, resulting in a lighter gravity. An advantage for the Humans.
This roleplay will follow the Human Rebellion. Originally, when the Vuruda first arrived the Humans had no knowledge of their technology, so even a captured weapons or vehicle was useless. However, after 52 years of slave labor, the Humans have learned much about the Vuruda's tech. From labor they learned how to operate, repair, and dismantle vehicles, from media exposure (though brief) they learned how to reload and fire their weapons, and though much hidden practice they master the ways of the Blade and Bow. Now, it is time to rise up. However, this uprising has nothing to do with "equlaity" or "earning rights". This uprising is about cold, hard revenge. The clock is winding down for the Vuruda, and they are soon to be added to the long list of species the Humans have hunted into extinction. . . Or will the tables be turned, and the humans we wiped out?

Having woke up from the single most amazing dream I ever had, I just had to make an RP out of it. . . Or try to.
So, what do you need to know?
Weapons
The Vuruda do use guns (laser-based weapons) but the also use a wide array of melee weapons. Swords, axes, bows and shields. It's got more to do with honor than practicality. I will add some pictures of some of the most commonly used weapons.
The Vuruda
The Vuruda are a race of bipedal humanoid beings bent on expansion. After enslaving the humans, they forced them to do all the work they didn't want to do. Humans have been mistreated for 53 years, and now that the Humans are rising up, the Vuruda have got a fight on their hands. . .
Technology
The Vuruda have lightspeed travel, massive space crafts and all sorts of generic sci-fi technology including an ear piece every being (Human and Vuruda alike) wear which translates language in real time allowing you not only to understand what is being said, but to also learn the language being translated after long term exposure.

Rules
.:: 1 ::. No God Moding! Humans are able to jump great heights (15 feet or so) Run about two times as fast as on Earth and lift objects twice the weight they might be capable of on Earth while on Kalu. Vuruda can only jump about 4 feet, run half as fast as the Humans and lift half the weight as the Humans.
.:: 2 ::. Violence, Romance and Swearing are all A.O.K. in moderation.
.:: 3 ::. Profiles are to be filled out and PM'd to me titled, "To Conquer" for Vuruda, "For Revenge" for Humans and "To be Decided" for other races (Must include a picture)
.:: 4 ::. Though no post limit is in effect, try to make at least a one paragraph post whenever possible.
