The door called to the curious side of Zanshin that never went away, no matter how many time she heard the phrase 'curiousity killed the cat'. Slipping through the door she found there were two choices: A set of bright stairs and a path that lead to darkness.
In for a penny in for a pound, Zanshin turned from the brightly lit staircase and made her way down the much darker path.

Katsura- The dark trek leads you into the earth and cool air. Its chill here, but not unbearably. You've a choice of right an left. The left is darker still, while the right tapers off into the distance. Rightward is warmer and vaguely better light.
#- Go right.
#- Go left.

Zanshin looked back and forth between the two choices. She could feel the differences in temperature and she looked down the warmer path wistfully. She really didn't like the cold, but shrugged and turned left anyway. Darkness didn't really bother her and a little bit of cold never hurt anyone.
