TECHNICIAN Name: Dario dri'Are Alias: None Gender: Male Age: 19
Height: 6'5" (Yes, very tall) Weight: Lower side of average Skin: Pale Build: Thin but not without muscle, not particularly effeminate Ethnicity: Northern European Orientation: Bisexual
Hair: Black; falls past his shoulders and is held in a low ponytail. His bangs are chin length and often pushed to one side. Eyes: Very dark purple, almost black Clothing: Black sleeveless, turtleneck shirt; black tight fitting pants in any of a variety of materials; black boots. Other: He has a total of four ear piercings, and a few others (I might elaborate on that later). He also has three scars on his right shoulder that seem to have been made with a knife; they're hidden by his shirt.
Likes: quiet, training, being around (but not necessarily interacting with) people Dislikes: Loud things, chaos, being in charge
Personality: Dario is, for the most part, a very quiet and calm person, never really saying more than he deems necessary in any situation. Despite having a rather commanding presence, he dislikes having to be in charge of another person or group and would rather function on his own; he does however prefer being in the presence of other people to being alone. He is absolutely and completely terrified of insects for no apparent reason.
Background: Dario is the third child of five from a wealthy European family, a family that claims Noble status. His two older siblings are from a different mother while his younger are full siblings. He is closest to his younger sister, Yusora and his father is currently married to a third wife. His life has been mostly uneventful; filled with all sorts of training and schooling mostly by live in tutors who would come to stay at their manor with them. His stay at Shibusen is the longest he has ever been removed from his fathers direct control and his families influence.

WEAPON Name: Rayne Cantravé Alias: None Gender: Female Age: 16
Height: 5' Weight: Average Skin: Pasty Build: Hourglass Ethnicity: Mutt from Seattle Orientation: Arguable
Hair: Teal with black bangs; her bangs are chin length while two long pieces fall to near the bottom of her ribcage; the back if cut short again. Eyes: Teal, large and round; giving her a somewhat psychotic but innocent look. Clothing: Think rather stereotypical goth for the most part; she's fond of wearing corsets that improve her figure as well as heavy cuffs and collars. She is also fond of fishnet and layering her clothes and always wears knee high boots. You can have fun creating an outfit or choose on from the references below. Other: Rayne has three piercings in her bottom lip and one in her left eyebrow, they are silver. She has multiple scars, including one across her nose, another straight down from her bottom lip, and a 'y'-shaped autopsy like scar.
Likes: Candy, violence, new clothes Dislikes: People in general, being forgotten
Personality: Violent and sarcastic, although she often hides behind a small smile and seems outgoing enough, she has a horrid temper and seldom thinks before she acts. She tends to say and do things she knows irritate the people around her in an effort to provoke them. Tends to get angry in an effort to cover those things that seriously hurt her, but sometimes she'll attempt to just shrug them off and act as if they're nothing. Sometimes she might start to come off as flirtatious, it's not on purpose. She is, in reality, incredibly self conscious and insecure.
Background: Very little is known about her past since, when asked, Rayne will come up with an elaborate lie in order to avoid answering truthfully. However, school records indicate she has lived in Seattle at least most of her life and that her current guardians aren't her real parents, but rather her aunt and uncle. They seem to have dropped all contact with her once she was shipped off to Shibusen.
Weapon form: Sniper Rifle

RP SAMPLE: Dario was not normally the type to pay great attention to those around him, although he would rather be surrounded by people than all alone. And, for the most part, the people he surrounded himself with seemed perfectly content to just ignore him in much the same way, going about their tasks as they normally would as he did whatever he felt he needed to do right then.
Right now the task at hand was finishing his current book of choice; a rather lengthy and involved tale he had long since lost track of but his older sister had insisted he read. If it had been anyone else insisting he finish the whole thing, he may very well have just ignored it, but his sister had ways of making his life rather unpleasant if she so chose.
Right now however, his concentration on the exaggerated prose was torn by more than just boredom. From the corner he had staked out in the small cafe, he had a clear line of sight to the girl who sat at one of the booths on the opposite wall; the girl who had been staring at him none to subtly for the last hour. Had no one thought to teach her manners?
Allowing himself a slight huff of annoyance, he once again attempted to throw all his attention into the book before him, turning slightly so that he no longer faced quite as directly towards the other cafe patron and allowing his long, black hair to slip over his should and obscure her the rest of the way.
For a few minutes, he was able to immerse himself back in the world of... what's his name, the hero who did something obviously not worth noting, but of course, peace couldn't last and he found himself with a rather unwanted guest slipping into the booth next to him.
Twitching in slight annoyance he turned to his head to study the girl more closely than he had bothered to before, and he found what he saw didn't really impress him. She seemed to dress in such a way that practically screamed to draw all attention to her; tight corset with rather more buckles than were needed, cinched tightly over a fishnet shirt in a rather bright shade of purple. A heavy, bondage style collar decorated her neck and her black skirt was pleated and fell to her knees, leaving only a small gap of her leggings visible before her boots started. And she was small, he noted, very small seeing as he was towering over her while leaning one elbow on the table.
Pulling his gaze back up to her face, he found she wasn't even paying the least bit of attention to him now that she was here, instead she had slipped her hand onto the table and snagged his drink while he had been distracted by her arrival.
"I do believe that is mine." He finally said, reaching up and grabbing for the paper cup as she raised it to take a drink from it herself.
Smiling at him in a way that was less than friendly, she merely switched the drink to her other hand and put the other one up in a mockery of defense. "You weren't drinking it, so I might as well." She let out a hum of approval, apparently liking his choice of drink, but of course making no move to return it to him. "I'm Rayne, thank you for the drink, mister."
With that she moved to get up, drink and all, apparently happy now that she had stolen the beverage from a complete stranger. Somehow, Dario really couldn't find anything to say to that, it just wasn't one of those things he had really learned how to respond to and before he could really process what he was supposed to do in the given situation, she was talking again.
"Well anyway, I do suppose I'll see you at school, so ciao for now~!" And with one final not-quite-smile she had made her way out the door and out onto the street beyond.
As the surprise finally wore off, Dario was left with a slight feeling of muted irritation as he finally rose to go buy himself another drink; this time to take home where no random girl with no manners could steal it from him. Wait... she went to school with him...?
NEXT DAY
School had been, as he had rather expected it would be, very uneventful. Dario figured the whole experience was probably made worse by the fact that he had, so far, only gone to an actual school for half of the last school year and the first week of this one. It was much easier to drift when you were in a large room full of other students who needed to be tended and were not the lone focus of a person who would really rather not get fired.
Silently, he watched as his class filed from the room before finally following suit and heading towards the schools exit himself. He was most of the way there when he heard a slight commotion behind him, which he was perfectly fine ignoring until the ruckus grew louder and a voice that was somewhat familiar became apparent over the other raised voices.
Turning slightly, he was unsurprised when he caught a flash of distinct, bright teal hair, large eyes of almost the same shade focused intently on him as the girl pushed her way through the larger students, seemingly undisturbed by their protests and the fact that probably half could turn into a rather dangerous weapon.
"Hey you, grumpy!" He twitched slightly as he realized the name was aimed at him, making the decision that it was best to leave without paying her and her lack of manners any more mind. Turning towards the door, he continued on towards the freedom it represented, ignoring the increasingly rude comments from the petite girl still intent on following him.
Just as he was about to reach the door, he was once again brought to a halt, this time by a hand that wrapped itself around his arm with a surprisingly strong grasp, making up for the fact it couldn't wrap entirely around his bicep by digging black painted fingernails into the exposed flesh.
"I said to wait up!" Came the irritable complaint as he once again directed her attention back to her. Her clothes were no less flashy than the day before, the only main difference being a slightly different corset and the fishnet undershirt having been exchanged for a ripped shirt made of what looked to be a gauze of some sort mottled black and reddish-purple. She was pouting at him angrily and staring at him as if expecting him to apologize for making her follow him all the way down the hall.
After a few seconds of staring, she finally gave an angry huff and continued on to what it was she had wanted to begin with. "You, you're one of those Tech's right?" Pausing a moment she waited for him to give a brief nod of confirmation before continuing on. "Great! That means you can be my partner from now on!"
Dario faltered at that, not quite sure what made this girl think he would actually want to partner with her even if he was capable of it. "Wait just a se-" He never got to finish the sentence however as the girl suddenly surged forward and out the door, her grip on his arm forcing him to either follow or lose a few chunks of skin.
"Like I said yesterday, my name's Rayne; Rayne Cantravé."
Seeing as she obviously wasn't taking no for an answer and was clearly expecting an reply, Dario decided to just deal with it for now. "Dario dri'Are." He muttered, not feeling a need to speak up when she was this close anyways. "...what exactly is your weapon type anyways?" He figured it would probably be important to know, seeing as she had decided they would be partners and all.
"Sniper rifle!" Her tone, and the malicious glint that came into her eyes as she admitted this, was more than enough to make Dario question exactly how sane this girl was. This was going to be interesting to say the least.
Living details: Dario lives in a large apartment his father pays for; Rayne moved in with him once their partnership started and seems to have made herself the boss of the place. She takes up residence in the largest bedroom, leaving Dario to the smaller guest room, and makes it very clear that he has to respect her privacy even as she invades his constantly.
Soul Resonance: When Soul Resonance is achieved Rayne becomes capable of firing balls of energy instead of normal bullets, the normal kickback and loading time of the rifle is also negated, making it capable of firing multiple times at a single target without need for reloading or aiming again. The energy ball can burn through some targets and continue on, depending on their thickness and how dense they are.
