Grey eyes gave the papers in his hands a brief glance before casually placing them down on the desk and folded his hands together, eyeing the two girls that stood before him. An amused sparkle in his gaze as he finally spoke, “So, Miss Walden and Miss Bradford, correct?”

A hint of an entertained smile on his face as he recalled a small mentioning of how the two had met, although he did not approve of young teenagers sneaking into Club Neaveh, he cleared his throat as Jerard realized that his mind was going off on a tangent. Focusing on the newly-formed pair, he got down to business.

“Congratulations on your formation, you two,” he said. Later on he muttered, “I do look forward to seeing a cricket back in action.”

A casual cough and the school administrator gestured for the duo to leave. “Now that you are officially a weapon/technician pair, there are certain areas that are available that were previously restricted to you. I have arranged for a staff member to tour you around campus. Please wait outside the door until they arrive.”

The two girls nodded in unison as he verified their names. Heidi stood with her hands clasped in front of her, grinning, while Dar stood with her arms crossed, leaning back on one foot, a slightly bored look on her face.

"Thank you so much!" Heidi said, excitedly. Dar couldn't help but chuckle. Ever since they had teamed up, she had looked ready to burst, so seeing her let out a tiny bit of it gave the redhead some amusement.

The blond continued grinning, waiting for the man to dismiss them. When he finally did she grabbed Dar's hand and pulled her out. This was feeling slightly reminiscent of the night in the club...

As the door closed behind them, Heidi whipped her head around, looking for the staff member who would be showing them around the new areas of the school.

Quiet footsteps rebounding off of the desolate Shibusen hallways, what seemed like a young lad walked towards Jerard Phonne’s office. One of the more recognizable figures around the school, Arashi strolled through the corridors as he took his sweet time arriving to his destination. At least he had the common sense to leave much earlier than needed. Dark blue eye staring out in front of him, he sighed and raised a slender hand to temporarily brush the bangs out of his other, lighter-colored eye.

Grasping the pair of headphones dangling around his neck he placed them on his ears and silently rocked his head back and forth to the music. Work around school had considerably lessoned, which was nice. Arashi had to admit. He had eagerly spent time practicing his violin as well as relaxing. It was a nice change of pace.

Noticing a pair of girls outside the office he stretched his arms. Well, it was time to get to work though. Shibusen duties came before chillaxing. “So are you the new pair I’m supposed to be showing around?” he questioned in a voice young and ambiguous, contradicting his age and gender.

Dar had been leaning up against the wall when Arashi rounded the corner. She noticed Heidi had popped open her compact mirror to check her hair. When she realized it was the deceptively young looking staff member, she sighed and closed it back up and pocketed the mirror.

"Are you having a go at us?" Dar said. "You're the staff member showing us around?" She hadn't seen him around yet, and couldn't believe that he could possibly be old enough to work there.

"No, he's serious, I think," Heidi said. She hadn't met him before, but had seen him around and one of her classmates had mentioned he worked there. The blond weapon held out her hand. "Hi! I'm Heidi."

Dar rolled her eyes. More of Heidi's friendly crap again. She tried to force a smile, but it ended up being more of a grimace. "I'm Dar," she said simply, keeping her arms crossed in front of her. "Can we get this over with? Chipper McSmiley got us an apartment, and I'd like to get it set up sometime tonight."

Arashi cocked an eyebrow at the blond that was hastily checking herself out in a mini mirror as he strode towards them before disappointedly sighing and putting it away. Was he supposed to glean some sort of information about the girl with that, or something?

The other, darker-haired girl warily eyed him, giving him a scrutinizing look, seemingly refusing to believe that the man could possibly be part of school staff. He replied with an aloof shrug, mind still mainly preoccupied with the music blaring in his ears. “I don’t quite get what you mean by ‘having a go at us’, but yeah, I’m the staff member that’s going to be giving you a tour of the school,” he answered, throwing them a casual smile.

Arashi nodded his head to Heidi. “Yup. I’m one-hundred percent serious,” he said and gladly shook her hand. “Arashi Kurotaki.”

As he observed the two girls, he always wondered how students with such different personalities could get along so quickly and form partnerships. After having handled various types of students, however, he was unperturbed by Dar’s nonchalant behavior. “Don’t worry, it won’t take long. So if you would oh-so kindly follow me . . .” Arashi began to walk backwards, gesturing a lazy arm for them to follow him.

Heidi happily followed, almost skipping behind Arashi. Her blond, bunned hair bobbed up and down as she moved. She paused for a second, looking back at Dar and nodded her head, beckoning her to follow.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," she said said, quirking a smile out of the corner of her mouth. She knew that Heidi was older than her, by 3 years, but sometimes it felt like she was far more mature than the other. She pushed against the wall with her upper back to push herself into motion.

"So what kind of stuff do you do around her, Mr. Kurotaki?" Dar asked the man leading them. As much as she hated small talk, she hated silence more. Perhaps that was one of the reasons she got on so well with Heidi. The blond weapon never seemed to shut up.

But Dar always listened, and took it with a form of amused humor.

The blond one, Heidi, cheerfully bounced after him while Dar hesitated for a bit before finally following. Silently grinning at the two’s relationship, he was pleased to see that the pair had established a working partnership despite the difference in their personalities. Arashi could only assume that it was due to certain quirks in their persona they could converse with one another without wanting to pull their hair out.

“Arashi is just fine,” he said with a casual smile, “and I mainly give tours to new pairs—like you, as well as escorting them on missions. Sometimes I’ll also tag along the more experienced pairs if it’s a hard mission.”

With the tour now fully underway and the designated pair happily (or reluctantly, whichever) following him, his visible eye glanced back and forth, wondering what to point out first. “I know that you know where the stuff like the library or cafeteria are as well as the classrooms are, so I won’t bother with that,” he said after a moment of silence. A pause and then Arashi later added, “Do you happen to be acquainted with Classroom #7 though?”

Realizing what he had just admitted, he faked a cough and uneasily laughed. “N-Not like I know where that is though. Hahahaha. Staff members don’t know what this. Nope. Noooot. Aaaaat. Aaaaall!”

"Oh, I know what Classroom 7 is!" Heidi exclaimed, raising her hand and jumping up a tiny bit. "It's, um...." she looked around, as though the floor underneath her might give her a hint as to what it was. "Uh," she glanced sideways at Dar. The redhead shook her head and shrugged. Weither she knew and wasn't owning up to it, or she just didn't know was uncertain.

"Oh, well, I guess it's, you know...an important classroom?" Heidi said finally, taking a stab in the dark.

"Put your hand down," Dar muttered under her breath.

"Oh, right," Heidi said, pulling it down finally and holding her other hand on top of the first, as though it might fly up again on it's own.

"So what is in Classroom #7?" Dar asked. It was still hard to tell if she knew and was testing him or just...testing him.

They continued walking, walking past classroom #7 as well as the other classrooms. His single light blue eye curiously stared at Heidi, waiting to see if indeed the student knew the purpose of classroom #7. Many, if not all, students knew the existence of the fake classroom, but the newer ones were usually not informed of such a room unless discovering about it by themselves or told by their partners or friends later on.

Personally, Arashi did not care about it. If Alexis found out, he was sure that there would be hell to pay. But hey, she had yet to discover it, so everything was still a safe “secret”.

At Dar’s question, he gave her a sly smile. “Why don’t you walk inside some time and find out for yourself?” he answered and then pointed out a window. “Anyways! As you can see, outside is the training grounds and then right over there is the training room if you don’t want to train outside or publicly.”

He continued his backwards walking, mind already set on the last spot to personally show them.

"Hmm," Dar replied at his clever evasion of her question.

Heidi and Dar paused together to look outside at the training grounds. They looked large enough, and Dar wondered if anyone had ever blown anything up on the grounds. That would be awesome.

"There's a room to practice in?" Heidi asked. "But...is it big enough? And how do you keep them from knocking down a wall or blasting into a classroom?" She was obviously planning on some heavy duty training.

Arashi grinned at Heidi’s eagerness. “Don’t you worry your pretty little head, Heidi. It’s big enough and the walls are tougher than you think,” he answered, “A lot of students have passed through these halls, after all! Including myself.”

Another mischievous grin and he continued to smoothly guide them towards the end of their tour. “And ta-dah! The main thing I’m sure you’ve been looking forward to, the missions board!” he said and rested a hand against it, careful to not cover the many listings that littered the board. “So whenever you guys are ready to take up a mission just come over here, pick one up, and let one of us staff members know so we can arrange everything!”

Satisfied that he had showed the pair everything they needed to know, he later added, “So! Got any questions about the school or whatever? Otherwise I’ll be on my way and leave you two to do whatever you want to do!”

"Oh, ok! That's good!" she said, and happily bounced on after Arashi. With one last look out the window, Dar shook her head a bit and followed slightly behind Heidi. They'd just have to see how tough those walls were. Dar had plans to put dents in the walls, and as little as she knew Heidi, she had a feeling the blond wanted the same thing as well.

As they stopped at the wall, Heidi leaned forward to read some of the missions. Dar looked at the large board, a bit confused. This was what the man was so excited to show them? It looked like just a normal announcement board. Heidi, who was still reading the missions, formed a little O with her mouth and she tugged at Dar's green jacket sleeve, then pointed to one of the missions.

Dar's left eyebrow rose and she looked over at Arashi. "Pizza?" she said. Why go to the trouble of killing people and then making pizza out of them? It was pretty clever, though, she had to admit. A bit Mrs. Lovett-esque.

Heidi shook her head at Arashi's question and looked at her partner. Dar shook her head too. "Nope, I don't think we have any questions." She answered for them. "It was, uh...nice to meet you," she said.

"And thanks for the tour!" Heidi added. "It was fun! I think we're gonna go try to wreak up the gym now, right?"

Dar smiled and nodded. "Right! Bye!"
