Okay so, if it wasn't bad enough that I was stressing myself out about passing my pfa because I kept hearing it would effect my orders.. but then I find out that the CO was doing a pfa at the same time as me. (I tend to get nervous around higher ranking personnel.)

Long story short, I failed today by two push ups.. v.v Idk why I let myself quit that close to passing.. anyway.

Anyone know the real story behind how this will effect my orders? The PLR lady was telling me last week that if I fail she will pull my orders, but the people in charge of the pfa this week were telling me I have to fail two before my orders are pulled. I can't go see the PLR until Tuesday to find out because they're closed four this four day weekend, and it's killing me that I don't know who's story is the right one and if I still have my orders or not.

Anyone know anything about this?

where are you currently stationed and where are you trying to go. it doesn't effect your orders unless you have 3 fails in 4 years.

If you fail 3 PFA's you get seperated. I don't think they can cancel your orders because you failed one. Your PRD doesn't change because of a PFA failure, so they have to give you your orders. Either way, don't sweat it, because it's out of your hands. You're going to experience a lot of situations like this throughout your career, and freaking out over every one of them is going to take a toll on your health. (Speaking from experience here!) The only thing I've ever heard of being effected by PFA failures is advancement. Good luck!

Lol yeah I'm new here and went reply crazy without looking at the dates of when everything was posted. Yeah dude you'd better get on that if you want to stay in. They've really cracked down on their standards. It's actually pretty ridiculous. I've known people that can blow the run out of the water, but because of their BMI they fail. It's not fair.
