"No bloody flying newt sets fire to my city!"
I've watched more of the Classic Disney movies in three weeks than I have in years, yikes!
I'm also improving the kid's tastes along the way. ;D He now looks forward to the AistoCats and The Land Before Time (Dreamworks, I know) as much as he looks forward to the Backyadigans.
Tonight is The Black Cauldron, and I feel like I'm getting waay more excited about this than I should. :'D
Anyone else get a chance like this to just up and start watching their Disney favorites again?
"If anyone ever sets fire to this city, it's going to be me!"

My youngest brother every once in a while tells me that he's never seem a disney movie I'm talking about. For example: Lion King. I know he's seen it before but he doesn't remember it at all! I am so appauled that I drag my entire family around to watch it. I guess I can't blame him too much though- he's only eight years old. I am expanding his horizons and getting to rewatch Disney Classics all at the same time.

Yup, I started watching every Disney movie in exsistance about a month ago. I only have two more to go: Sleeping Beauty and Dinosaur.
And I started showing my brothers Disney, too. In just two weeks, my brother was picking up stuff about movies and using his brain. He NEVER uses his brain! We were watching the Tigger movie, and he put the story together and figured out the moral of the story just minutes in!
Thanks to Disney, my brother is now smart!
And I bought the Black Cauldron the other day after not being able to find the whole thing on YouTube. It's really interesting, you'll enjoy it. (fun fact: Tim Burton worked on the Black Cauldron)

Well, I have a younger sister, but she's 14, not exactly little anymore. So she doesn't really like to watch too many Disney movies. It's usually me who wants to put on the Disney movies anyway. I remember this one time I had watched Beauty & the Beast over 7 times in two weeks...I really like that movie. At times, I can close my eyes and just listen to the movie and I picture it all in my head, I know it so well. It comes in handy when I start getting sleepy and can't keep my eyes open though xP

And I even one time watched Mulan twice in one day.

"No bloody flying newt sets fire to my city!"
My younger bother is only a year younger than me(We're 15 and 16), but he doesn't like to watch the old Disney movies anymore, and he never really did like them. It's nice to have little kids who appreciate them.
@Neko-cat; Oh! I've seen the Black Cauldron before, it used to be my favorite. I'm just so excited I found it haha xD
@Krissy; That's the way I am with The Hunchback and Aladdin. I watched Mulan so many times when I was younger (I don't own it, sadly) I could probably do the same.

oh man. i babysit on my days off and i only let the kids watch my classic disney DVDs. we've gone through Beauty and the Beast, the Little Mermaid, A goofy Movie, Oliver and Company, Thumbalina (it has the little mermaid's voice so it counts a little!), Alice in Wonderland, James and the Giant Peach, the Brave little Toaster, Dumbo, and Pinochccio.
and the list just keeps getting longer and they have a good taste in movies now. :]

I used to babysit, and we mostly watched the Suite Life of Zach and Cody. It wasn't anywhere as good as the classics, and that made me really sad.
Some kids just don't know good movies.

I haven't watched my old Disney movies in such a long while, lol. I still have memories of that movie where Ariel had a daughter named Melody.

Dynie2007 I haven't watched my old Disney movies in such a long while, lol. I still have memories of that movie where Ariel had a daughter named Melody. rofl I watched that one for the first time in a long time a few weeks ago. I loved it as a kid, and when I watched it this time I was rather dissapointed. Not as good as the original, that's for sure.
