Kiami walked into the school and looked around for her friends, Jasmine and Neami. Not seeing them, she decided to walk to her locker to pick up her Biology notebook. She opened the locker and grabbed the notebook. She was walking down the hall when someone tripped her. Probably that damn football jerk.

Lai skipped happily to her locker, being greeted by many passersby. Her older brother, Xain stayed behind her like a depressing shadow. People moved out of his way, but no one greeted him. Lai stopped at her locker and waved goodbye to her brother.
Xain nodded and headed off to his, as he was walking, he witnessed some guy tripping a girl. He shook his head and bent down and offered her his hand.

Xain grew tired of waiting for the girl, then shrugged and walked out, putting his hand in his pocket.

Xain glanced back at the girl and nodded silently. He turned to walk off to his class, trying to avoid the stupid football players who were throwing a football in the hallway.
