I keep my yarn scraps and tie them all together.. I have a nice sized ball going in my nightstand door... My future-mother-in-law asks me why I save them, "they can't be used for anything"... I plan on knitting them into something once it's long enough, til then, it's literally a scrapbook of what projects I've been making.
What do you do with yarn scraps?

I usually give mine to my cats, they go nuts for them and chase them around the house.

When I have yarn scraps, I use them to embroider faces on an amigurumi or I make mini doilies

I do the same. I actually crocheted a flower with leftovers from a knitting a scarf. All the ends were on one side haha.
I like to keep extra strips just in case. for random projects. i hate coming up with something to make and not having the materials for it... like a fringe or just having some yarn to connect pieces together.. then weave it in later.

Hm, I didn't have yellow yarn, but my variegated yarn has bits of yellow in it. I could cut it and tie it together to have yellow yarn? Sweet. XD

entervixen I usually give mine to my cats, they go nuts for them and chase them around the house. Be careful with that! If they swallow the yarn they could get really sick! T.T As for what I do with my scraps, I'm working on learning Entrelac so I can start an Entrelac pillow made of all the yarn scraps I have.
