Minties are nice, aren't they? Did you guys ever have competitions as kids to see who could make their minty last the longest? Or make those chains by tearing the wrapper and seeing who could make the longest one?
As for favourite lollies...hm, I'd have to say it's a tie between jelly snakes and jelly beans heart

Those free mint things you get when you leave a restaurant! The ones at Siennas in Leederville are the most awesome.

My homecare teacher gives everyone minties near the end of the term, It's weird since its highschool

Why is it weird? Our Jap teacher in high school gave us chocolate frogs for good work. I had a maths teacher in yr 8 who had random 'chup-a-chup days' I think you can guess what we did on those days 3nodding . And my yr 12 psych teacher would occasionally bring cake if we'd been working hard.
Food is a fantastic motivator, I find 3nodding
