The room was quiet, soundlessly so as Z padded softly towards the spot in the bookshelf that was his target. Lucien had offered to be the one to return the book they'd... 'borrowed', but they both knew that Z was the better one when it came to stealth. And if they were ever discovered with this particular book, they'd be in trouble deep enough that even Lucien's smooth talking skills and relationship to the headmaster couldn't get them out of. The only hint of movement was in the soft whisper of displaced air as Z reached out, slowly sliding the volume back into place amongst its neighbors.

There.

One last, slight puff of air as the book resumed it's usual spot on the shelf, and then the room was back to it's absolute silence. Z stood, utterly immobile as he surveyed his surroundings, considering the best way out. Class was over now, so going back the way he'd come - climbing down from the rooftop - was a little too risky. Chances were good that someone would catch sight of him, and while it wasn't too unusual, it could raise some questions he'd rather not have to deal with. Maybe... Z grinned, a soundless laugh escaping from upturned lips as he headed towards the door; he'd just leave from the Library's front entrance. He'd done it before, and if he had to, he could come up with a plausible excuse. Despite all his dislike for regular learning, books were useful from time to time, and it wasn't as if he'd never stepped foot into the Library.

Z picked up his pace as he exited the room, moving quickly but still appearing unhurried as he moved from the restricted areas towards the busier, student-frequented halls. The adrenaline high from his earlier task was receding quickly, and though he kept his violet gaze sharp and his senses on alert, his mind was more in a state of post-high restlessness than keen awareness as he entered the main hall of the Library.

Stopping at the entrance, he surveyed the area before turning sharply left. While he was here... Perhaps he could find a book or two that covered his current interest.

Ivan didn't think he'd ever seen the inside of a library before. He'd known it was here, of course. It hadn't featured in Ashie's whirlwind tour of the campus, but Ivan knew the way – it was a good and predictable route for easy pickings. He liked not being able to say the exact outcome of the little races he occasionally started: would he box them off? Would they touch the magic doors? Ivan wasn't scared of anyone in there – him being put off by a librarian? – but it was a thrill to give the prey the illusion of a haven, something like a sheep headquarters. Were they whispering about him? He sure hoped so.

Well, now his game was shot to hell, he supposed. He pushed the wooden doors open easily - to think he'd thought they were heavy from all the mice he'd chased, when their arms quivered like they were made of gelato. He snorted. Still... stepping through, the welcome wasn't up to par. He hadn't expected screaming or anything, but some spooked deer would have been nice. His eye twitched across the room; huge and still and verging on silent – which was about right, judging from the signs - except there was hardly anyone here. One dark head was propped up with an elbow, but that guy was probably asleep, and –

Ivan tensed as somebody entered his field of vision - ******** blind spot was as big as a horse – but relaxed in the same breath. Glasses, small, nametag, and a scrunched up way of standing that made it seem like she was wilting back. Librarian, or librarian in training probably. Ivan turned a grin on her. "You in charge of my detention?" he asked, not bothering to lower his voice. "I never learned the card catalogue system and all that crap so I'm not gonna be much use." He shrugged. "What say we sign on off on Phonne's green slip and I not hassle you for the next two hours?" He turned before she could nod or grow a spine, intent on moving into the adjacent halls. Maybe there were better fish on the deep end of the pool? Single eye roving, he didn't notice the approaching figure until he smacked right into a solid body.

Throwing fire, fire tricks... fire performance...

Z skimmed through the entry listings on the computer, scowling slightly as he tried to find the relevant topic. Who knew there was so much written down on the topic of <********> With a quick, abrupt movement, he moved the mouse over to the 'X' in the top right corner and closed the window, his free hand going towards the piece of paper on which he'd scribbled a few likely locations to search. It was irritating to him, as this was turning out to be a much bigger deal than he'd originally intended it to be. Fire was an easy enough topic on its own, but when one had to go into technicalities and details, there was just too much material.

Turning away from the search station, Z set off in the direction of the closest shelf in something very similar to a stalk - movements quick and powerful, but silent as his strides covered the distance quickly, reaching the shelf within moments. A quick glance was enough before he was moving again; it was quite obvious that 'throwing fire' was a topic relating more to flamethrowers than anything else. He looked neither left nor right as he headed towards the next location, attention too focused on the frustration now beginning to simmer to a boil at the thought that this entire exercise may have been entirely useless.

"... next two hours?"

The voice was vaguely familiar, but distracted as he was, his brain took one second too long to process the information coming from his ears, and before he could move to avoid it, Z found himself face to face, literally, with a one-night-stand.

"s**t." The word was out before Z could hold it back, the sound louder than necessary and carrying down the hallway towards the agitated librarian. Z spared her a glance, absorbing the details of the situation before taking a step back, in control and aware once again. Violet eyes were narrowed as he studied the other, now in full light, he noticed for the first time the dirty blonde color of the other's hair, though the eyepatch and dress style were identical to when they'd last met. "You." One corner of Z's lips twisted upwards in a feral grin, half challenge, half insanity. "What the heck are you doing here?"

Damn. Ivan righted his cap, knocked askew by the force of the collision. What the ********? Ivan was no lightweight but the guy was built like a ******** rock. A... tall rock. Ivan had to lift his chin to glare, and didn't that just screw any effect it might've had. His eye slitted as he rubbed a palm over his abs, and spat out a curse of his own. Ivan was half-blind. What the hell was this loser's excuse?

"Watch it," he snarled, and turned at an angle with every intention of shoving past the other's shoulder, but he stopped mid-step - the guy was looking at him in a fixed, intense way that... Well, in another context Ivan would be getting hot and bothered. As it was, his body couldn't decide what to do with the adrenaline: was it turned on or spoiling for a fight?

He'd just settled on feeling vaguely pleased at the attention when the guy addressed him – deep, and from that one word Ivan knew that he could purr like a damned car engine. Something in his head nagged at him, but Ivan shook it off to get a better look; he didn't know a lot of people in the school who'd talk like that to him, much less as if they knew him. Either this guy had balls, or Ivan was succumbing to the first sign of alcohol poisoning.

Closer scrutiny didn't reveal much. The guy was hot; sinuous and long, labret piercing, tats, girls' eyes. Ivan flashed his own piercing almost unconsciously as he swiped a tongue over his lip and racked his memory, but he got nothing. Only the grin seemed familiar, a little loose, a lot daring. Maybe the hair, and the odd flash of colour. Like strobe lights. "Me," he bluffed, and didn't move, though his earlier step meant they were standing close enough to be uncomfortable. He hooked an answering grin of his own. "Detention," he drawled, jerking his head at the librarian. "Phonne keeps riding my a** so hard, and not in the good way." The grin turned sly as he tried to figure out if this was a confrontation or some misguided pick-up attempt. Not that Ivan would say no to either at this point. "What about you?"

The initial shock of meeting someone he'd thought to never seen again had worn off soon enough, leaving Z feeling entirely too sober and aware for this particular situation. Running into a quick ******** that he didn't know the name of, in the middle of the school library, just did not rank high on his list of enjoyable things. Nevermind that his presence anywhere on SHIBUSEN indicated that he was a student at the school... damn it. If he'd known that this would happen, he'd have taken Lucien up on his offer to return the book, regardless of the consequences.

Z's lips kept the smile, though his eyes were distant, showing none of the thoughts running through his head as he studied the other up close. The proximity didn't bother him - he was confident enough in his own ability to avoid unwanted contact - but the way the other was posturing was beginning to grate on his nerves.

"You don't remember me." Amusement came and went in violet eyes as Z tossed his head back in a laugh, unfazed by the glares the librarian was sending their way. "Imagine that." This close, it was impossible to miss the heat in the other's eyes, and there was something just too entertaining about the realization that he was being checked out like he was something tasty... for the second time. "You know what?" Tauntingly, he leaned closer, bending his head down until lips were but a hairsbreadth away from touching the other's ear, "you've seen it all before."

The grin had turned mocking by the time Z straightened up once again, though he didn't step back. "Detention? I see." A chuckle escaped, and he used it as a way to avoid the question, "and now you're attending it like a good little sheep." He knew full well that the other had no choice, but he was betting that his statement would be enough to divert the other's attention. And if it failed, well, there was nothing that said he couldn't simply walk away.

No reaction. Ivan didn't think he'd misread the situation, but enough time passed with no change in that steady, glittering gaze for him to grow impatient. He really had no idea who the ******** this was, and the guy wouldn't bend his neck long enough to give him a clue -

You don't remember me. Well s**t. On to him already. Ivan didn't drop the grin, though it slipped a little as the other threw back his head. That... The sound barely registered. There was no epiphany, no rush of limbs and memory, but that single image burned its way into his skull. Sliding adam's apple, inked lines disappearing into his collar... Ivan knew suddenly that he'd had this man, in the slick, intimate way, and it was a goddamned shame that he couldn't remember a thing.

The voice in his ear confirmed it, warm breath stirring his hair - among other regions - and his fingers itched to dig into a bicep. Was the man up for a re-run maybe? He didn't bother trying to place when or where the original had gone down – it could've been any night in the past month. Standard fare for Ivan; in any week he had a handful of hungover mornings that stretched from AM hours he'd been completely smashed. More than once he woke up in the middle of an alley, made a tally of the sore places and hit Neveah all over again. To guess what or who the hell he'd been doing was a waste of time.

He tipped his chin, shifting his leg to fit snugly against the other. It bordered on indecent, but he wasn't about to deny himself, and the librarian had probably never seen this much action. "Is that right," he breathed. "I always said I had good taste." A slow roll of the pelvis. "Maybe you didn't give me anything to remember you by?" He bared his teeth at the reference to Phonne but he wasn't about to be distracted when it came to his appetites. A dog with a bone had nothing on Ivan.

Walk away. That niggly voice in the back of his head again; Z could swear that he'd heard it that other night, too. But the other's words were a challenge, even though his aggressive move was more than distasteful to the taller WEAPON. Violet eyes narrowed and glittered as they looked down on the other, and Z was a split second from moving away when the other issued his challenge.

"Maybe you were just too wasted to remember that you kept asking for more." Amusement was back in his voice as he accepted the challenge, though the words were uttered softly - while Z had no qualms about discussing sex in the library, he also was not in the mood to raise a commotion. Especially not now that he had his quarry in sight and his dominant thought was to prove this boy wrong. The fact that the other had forgotten him didn't faze Z, and his ego didn't give a damn - if he remembered correctly, that night hadn't been particularly spectacular anyway, and the other was not even his usual type.

But the other's words had been too much like a dare, and Z simply couldn't resist.

One hand reached up, to tangle in dirty blonde hair as the dark haired boy yanked the other's head back with little finesse and more than a smidgen of force. "This time--" The librarian gasped, and with one look of disgust over at her, Z let go, to shift his grasp towards the other's shirt. Grabbing hold, he gave one quick shove, sending the blonde towards a lesser-used corridor before resuming speech. "This time, you'll remember."

Ivan didn't waste his breath arguing. He was shameless even sober, and it wasn't rare he got up hoarse. Trying to finish off quietly – some guys got off on it and it was okay to spice things up sometimes but discreet didn't feature in Ivan's vocabulary. If he liked it, he let you know. If he didn't, you knew it, and then you ******** off for the night. Either way, Ivan wasn't the choosy type. The other could be telling the truth, or else he could be pulling a really good ruse. Exercising like a demon and hitting up Neveah meant he was never that hard up for it anyway, but Ivan never needed much persuading, and hell, he wasn't about to put a downer on things.

"If you're so ******** eager now, you probably had a better time of it than I did." His smile was crystallised honey; smooth and sweet but razor-sharp around the edges, and he hissed in more pleasure than pain as the ******** grabbed his hair. Apparently you could bed the same person and not know it, and it could be even hotter the second time round 'cause they knew exactly what got you moaning.

Heat pooling in his stomach and slithering lower, he tolerated the manhandling long enough to get out into the corridor. He wasn't some blushing virgin that needed to be walked into a mattress. His fingers gripped the taller figure by the belt loops and slammed him into the wall. He wanted contact and he didn't care who the hell saw. Might give that blue-haired b*****d something Interesting to read on his detention report.

"Is that a promise?" He pressed in close, flicking his tongue against a heavily-pierced ear. "Name's Ivan, in case you wanted something to scream."

Z stayed silent at the other's words, though he grinned, slowly, a dangerous light coming to his eyes as he stayed where he was, pushed against the wall with the other practically climbing on top of him. He saw no point in responding with words - he would simply prove the other wrong, and every scream or grunt he could wring out from the man would be proof of his skill. The tongue by his ear was distracting, but his mind still managed to register the words through the lust of fog that was beginning to build despite all protests from the sane part of his mind.

Ivan.

A name, not that it mattered now, with their bodies so close and warmth seeping through the layers of clothing in between. A hand came up, circled around the other's - Ivan's - nape, and gripped hard, using force rather than sensual persuasion to move the head sideways, exposing the same expanse of skin that Z had attacked during their first encounter. He didn't waste his breath asking the other if he remembered this particular set-up - at this point, it hardly mattered - and bit down, a deep hum of satisfaction echoing in his chest as he enjoyed the feel of flesh between his teeth.

He kept his mouth there for a few seconds, suckling hard enough to give the other a glaring hicky while his free hand came out to settle on the Ivan's waist, fingers digging in before going up, under the man's shirt to score blunt nails down his side. Giving the other's neck one last, hard bite, he lifted his head, pausing only long enough to give the area a teasing lick before turning and flashing Ivan a narrowed-eyed look that was all madness and lust. "Z, and there's no 'in case' about it - you will scream my name."
PostPosted: Thu Oct 15, 2009 7:55 am

Ivan's eye was half-lidded, revealing just a slice of steel. In bars, the temperatures were naturally high, taps running as fast as drinks went down, roaming hands sparking liquid heat. Willing furnaces on all sides. This was different – no swig of rum to get him started, so he could feel every gun this guy was giving his engine. ******** if it didn't feel like he had a gutful of fire. Maybe there was something to be said for sober sex.

This close, he couldn't see much, but this close he didn't need to, okay with just the feel, smell, sound – except that the body against his was mostly unresponsive, and that really wasn't gonna do. Or-? He let out a low growl, equal surprise and annoyance as his head was yanked to the side – it melted into something else as warm breath lips tongue attacked his neck, and Ivan went huh-uh or some other noise of encouragement.

He fisted shirt when nails raked against the sensitive skin of his stomach and snarled, intent on payback as the mouth withdrew. It took a moment for the words to puncture the thick haze of lust, and he swallowed against a shudder. He was damned ready and raring to go, and the a*****e probably knew it. In no mood for teasing, he matched the searing gaze, turned it into a challenge.

"Too much talking, not enough ********, Z." It came out as a harsh whisper as he moulded their bodies together, grinding his hip lightly into the juncture of those admittedly well-defined legs.

Z's breath hissed out from between his teeth as Ivan ground his body closer, the hand that was already touching skin applying more pressure, molding into the warmth of the other's body. The logical part of his mind offered a sarcastic thought, that it must've been far, far too long for him if stimulation from a gutter rat like Ivan was eliciting any form of reaction, but the combination of challenge and lust had already turned into something too overwhelming to control.

Using the wall for leverage, he pushed back, hips twitching pleasantly, once, before the fingers in Ivan's nape dug in, and a quick side step (plus some experienced maneuvering) reversed their positions. <********, yeah. Leaning in close, Z pressed the other against the shelf, violet eyes going dark as he angled in for a kiss.

If he remembered correctly, Ivan was all teeth and roughness... "Don't draw blood unless you want me to return the favor." The words were gutteral, deep, as Z crushed his mouth against the other.

There was no finesse in the action, as Z used teeth and lips to force the other's mouth open for entry. Now that he had Ivan's head where he wanted it, the hand around his nape moved south, leaving a trail of warmth down the other's back before reaching its target. Fingertips slid under the waistband of Ivan's pants, roughly caressing hot skin as he tried to arouse the other further. Against the other's lips, his own curved upwards before he broke apart for just long enough for air. "Damn, you're as crazy as I am."

PostPosted: Sat Oct 17, 2009 7:37 pm

A low sound of approval as Z reacted – why people put up such a front about it was beyond him. In the streets, the last thing you wanted was someone who needed to be ******** wooed – give him a wall and a willing body and he was in heaven. On this point, at least he and Z seemed to be on the same page – no bullshit about needing a bed or even a horizontal surface, and the taller boy was getting with the program (maybe getting warmed up?). Flimsy resistance made you so much cheaper than if you'd just said yes.

Ivan snaked his free arm from where it was trapped between them. This was more like it. His hand brushed a path along Z's body, up his shoulder, skimming the planes of the washboard back before dropping to the bit he was really interested in, and squeezed. The slight shudder of the body beneath his was doing a number on his self-control, which was barely there to begin with – a surprised grunt as a dozen book spines jammed into his tailbone. ********.

He glared - okay, that – hn... The mouth against his was insistent, and the ease that Z rolled him over with stung his pride a little, but hell yeah, he could be distracted. Rough. Rough was good. He grinned ferally against the other's lips at the warning, even as the deep register did things to his lower half that didn't bear repeating. Or maybe they did. A whole lot of repeating. "What's the matter? Can't handle it?" His own voice was throaty, muffled as he flicked his barbell against Z's tongue, nipped and sucked on the bottom lip.

"No one's crazy as I am," he laughed breathlessly as Z toyed with the waistband of his slacks, fingers not quite there, "But you're pretty ******** close." He gripped harder and bucked, a huge, hot feeling expanding in his pants.

The feel of skin to skin and the warmth of the body in his arms felt good, and unconsciously, his muscles rippled under Ivan's hands as he shifted, wanting more. There was always an extra bit of spice in the encounter when the other person involved knew what they wanted, and Ivan was sure, if nothing else. In reaction to the hand on his a** - and the pleasant tingle it elicited - Z bit down hard on a lower lip, causing a sharp pain before suckling it away, metal knocking against metal as he thrust his tongue into Ivan's without warning.

Can't handle it? The man was all bark, and no bite. He proved it by sliding his hand deeper into the other's pants, grinning ferally as he enjoyed the reaction he could feel against his thigh as he looked down, shaking his head. "You could be right about the crazy, but that's only because you think that I'm the one who can't handle this." Fingers dug in, short nails scraping sensitive skin as he bent down to toy with the other's ear, tongue flicking out to trace the sensitive shell. His voice was down to a whisper as he continued, "As I recall... You almost lost it when I did this last time." A faint chuckle rumbled in his chest as he resumed his ministrations, biting hard enough to leave angry red weals, but holding back just enough to refrain from breaking skin.

Last time, he'd gone home with more than a few cuts, and while he enjoyed things that rough occasionally, getting blood over the books would horrify the librarian even more than two men making out.

That thought, more than anything, reminded him of why he was locked in an embrace with Ivan, and suddenly restless, the arm that had been at the other's side moved down, over a flat stomach, over the waistband of his slacks... wanting to cause an even deeper reaction. "Looks like your body remembers me, even if you don't."
PostPosted: Sun Oct 25, 2009 4:12 am

Ivan panted against Z's mouth as teeth closed around his lip, stroking his tongue against the sudden invasion as he rubbed up against the other's seam, chasing the thrill of pleasure that wasn't quite enough. The hand against his rear was distracting; blood had rushed almost completely downwards as the pressure built in a burning V, but he knew he was flushed, could feel the telltale heat spreading over his nose and down his neck and chest. God. Z's eyes were smoky on him and ******** if all that attention didn't make a man horny.

He groaned loud enough to resonate in the hall as Z's lips attacked his ear - cheating "Ba...stard -" his hand flattened and slammed against Z's ribs as he keened like a wild animal. It was a zone that made his bones melt and the smug ******** knew it - he recovered with a snarl as Z's hand ghosted over the front of his slacks - enough. He left the wall's leverage and leaned all his weight against the other as he hooked a leg around Z's, rabid, wanting, breathlessly rocking up. The friction was -

He moaned again, mouth searching for the vein in Z's throat - F-uck. <******** jerked still. Ice water. The new angle afforded him a perfect view behind Z's shoulder. Few things could deter him when he was this worked up, but Jerard Phonne would be one of them, arms crossed, one sharp eyebrow raised. He dropped his forehead onto Z's neck, and squeezed his eye shut - useless though; somehow he didn't think his imagination was that sick. Ivan's pants weren't all the way down but at this point it wasn't gonna make a lick of difference - there was absolutely no mistaking what he and Z were doing. He would kill the librarian, he decided. Kill her good.

Z's mouth roamed down, eyes flickering open in mild surprise, and then amusement as Ivan practically attempted to climb onto him, stroking his ego and encouraging him to put a little more bite into his ministrations.

The sudden jerk and pause of the body in his arms, however, was unexpected, and Z lifted his head, turning it to see what had caused the disruption in this game of flesh that he and Ivan had been so involved in. Jerard. Ah. Standing not more than two meters away, with his arms crossed over his chest and a tilt to his eyebrow that suggested he was not particularly impressed.

The feral, challenging grin was automatic as he took a step back from Ivan, though he didn't bother to suppress the shudder of pleasure that went through his body at the feel of the other sliding against his own before they separated. "Hi," Z's deep voice was husky as he addressed the headmaster, as though being caught in a pre-sex make-out session was utterly normal, "what brings you here?" The question was rhetorical, of course, but Z was very much in the mood for pushing at the boundaries of Jerard's temper.

Any punishment that the man could give, would be ignored, anyway. At least by him. Z slanted a glance over at Ivan beside him as he waited for Jerard to speak, the smile turning slightly sharper as he realized the man beside him would probably grouse, but still do whatever punishment was meted out. Not his problem.

Violet eyes shifted back to the father of his partner, and seeing as the other was still simply standing motionless, narrowed. "Well, then. If you're not gonna bother answering..." Z shrugged, letting his voice trail off. One hand raised up, fingers bent to scrape lightly across Ivan's cheek as Z turned to leave. "See you around, crazy."
