The house and it's surrounding.A rather large house for his liking, Ray does enjoy the isolation of the mountains. It is off the grid, far away from many other people, and private. With 6 large bedrooms and 4 smaller ones, a large hall, 2 small bathrooms and a large bathroom, along with a large dinning hall and a smaller more private one. It is perfect for inhabitants who enjoy the constant winter, because there is only a single month in which the snow melts away to reveal the pine trees green.

The car pulled up into the driveway, windows rolled down to let the bitter cold, yet comforting, air into the car. Once the engine stopped, Ray opened the door and took a great stretch. he had the vehicle prepared especially for his type, so Snow would not have been in any sort of discomfort. The snowy country side was welcoming as it signaled that he was finally able to rest in his home. It had been nearly a week since he had a proper rest, and he was exhausted. The clouds had the sun blotted out to the last ray as they usually did, and the odd flake of snow fell down to greet them. It would become pitch black soon enough as twilight descended upon the land, it had taken nearly a days drive to get here, and that was with speeding. "Welcome Snow, to your new home." he said with a weary smile as he opened the door for his new house guest. She would be a slave no more. "I will gladly show you around your new home and find you suitable accommodations."

~Snow~ Snow climbed out of the car and looked around. It was so beautiful. She wanted to dance in the falling snow. Ray's voice drew her attention and she smiled at him, snowflakes clinging to her hair. in the last rays of the sun it looked like a halo. "I can't wait~!" she said excitedly as she twirled in the snow and then took the last few stepps towards him. She was entranced by the place that would be her home.

Ray smiled and took her to the front doors of the house, pushing them open to reveal the dimly lit white, gold, and red hallway with a flight of stairs at the end of them leading them up to the upper floors. Leading the way, he walked down the hall past the various paintings to the stairs at the end of the hall. "Up here is where we will mostly be living, we will only really use the main floor for the dinning hall and for the view really. It is also where the gust rooms are, but they are rarely used." he explained as he ascended the stairs which lead to another hallway leading down the face of the house with the view of the vast grounds at the rear of the building coated in a light sheet of snow.
"The bedroom at the end of the hall in the cornet of the house is my own, there are three to of which you can chose from here." He said opening his pal towards the other bedrooms. It seemed large, but that was because the rooms where large and the house was not so complex as many would think. "There are two more higher up that have a more clear view of the forest, but lack the view of the courtyard with the other side of the pine forest to it, which offers a more spectacular view to wake up to."

~Snow~ Snow followed Ray into the house and up the stairs. His home was quite large. 'Why does he own this big house, if he has unused geust rooms?" She thought to herself. When he mentioned that she could pick her own room she turned thoughtful. She wanted to pick a good room, one with a good veiw that would be close to RAy incase something should happen. "Which room would you suggest?" she asked.

Smiling a little bit, he moved strolled forward to the room close to his room, twisting the door to reveal the room within. "It has a grand view of the court yard out back, the best in the house I do believe. I usually would only use it to watch the winter forest, but I am hardly ever using it anymore." He said as he turned towards her, motioning towards the room. "See for yourself." He gave one last weary smile and the walked off to his room, exhausted for the long weeks he had gone without rest. "Good night, I do fear that exhaustion must take it's toll on me. Explore the house to your heart contempt if you would like, it is your new home after all." He said as he closed the the door enough for privacy, but left it open a few inches just in case. Taking off his furry vest and his gloves, he dropped onto his bed and pulled a light blanket over him. he got used to the feel of the fabric, but otherwise did not need it. Even though he was so exhausted, his mind would not allow him any rest for a good due while more. It became a task to fall asleep for him and he would rather avoid it if possible.

~Snow~ Snow went to the room he suggested and smiled as she looked in at it. It was perfect. As he turned to leave she smiled at him. "Have a good rest." she said in a cheery voice. When he was in his room she walked into her new room. She opened the curtains and caught her breath. The veiw was amazing. She giggled and walked out of her room, down the stairs, and outside. She had to dance in the snow. Her limbs ached with the need. As she gracefully twirled and danced along the snow she let herself release the hold she'd been keeping on her abilities. Soon more snow began to fall covering her with tiny flakes. She never lost sight of the house, always her mind kept track of where she was. It wouldn't due to get lost on the first day.

Ray's raptor gaze never left the window as he lay in his bed, weary yet unable to sleep. He watched the faint figure of Snow dance and explore the grounds, slowly leaving his vision. He waited, for what seemed like hours, until the pain died with the blackness of sleep. He hummed in his sleep, the soft ringing of his throat echoing out through is room as he slept.

~Snow~ As Snow danced she saw a large mound of snow and became excited. She rushed over to it and began to dig at one of the sides. After many long minutes of work she had made her self an imporvised igloo. She crawled in it and smiled. She had her own ittle fort, just like the ones she'd made as a child. She sung a few low wordless songs and hummed to herself. After awhile she became tired. It was time to head back to the house. As she crawled from her fort she saw that her singing had attracted a few animals. she smiled and hummed as she walked back home. they followed for a while but then turned and scurried away as she neared the house. She went inside and stretched her amrs over her head, the billowing sleeves of her dress casscading down her arms. She made her way upstairs and to her room. From Ray's room she heard humming. Unable to resist she walked closer to his door and listened quietly for a few minutes, a soft smile on her face. Soon she walked back to her room and crawled into the bed. It was so comfy that as soon as her head hit the pillows she was asleep.

Ray woke with a start to be greeted by pitch blackness, his frozen heart pumping the cool liquid through his body was hammering hard against his chest. It was a regular occurrence, but this one was precariously vivid. Taking in the last few heavy breaths he would allow, he calmed himself back down to his regular demeanor. The clock ticking away in his room showed him it was just past midnight, he had a good four hours of rest again. Sighing, he stood out of bed and pulled the familiar wolf fur back over his chest and zipped it tight, pulling the gloves and boots on quickly after. Snow would probably be out like a light for a good while longer, Ray figured he could get some reading down while he was waiting for her to awake. he strolled past her room, making his way down the stairs where he kept his books in a room overlooking the court yard. He sat down in his regular chair and read over the book he had last left on the table. He was ready over a book on the physicality of his race, learning as much as he could.

~Snow~ Snow woke up and stretched her entire body out. She blinked her vision into focus and found that it was dark. Very dark. She gulped and felt around for a light. She was afraid of the dark. As she was looking for the light she fell off the bed with a loud thud. "Owww." she said as she got onto her hands and knees. Her heart was racing as her imagination ran away with her. She kept imagining some monster coming out of the shadows, just waiting to gobble her up!

Ray was nearing the end of a chapter as he heard a thud resonate from the upper level of the house along with a small childish cry in pain. Placing the book down immediately, he stood up and briskly walked through the open doorway towards the source of the sound. The only light was that of the small hearth in the study so it was pitch dark on the upper floor. He took the steps two at a time as he rushed towards Snow's room. Once he reached the door, he opened it lightly and focused his crystal raptor like eyes until he could vaguely see her figure. Placing a protective arm around her waist, he lifted her up from the ground. She was obviously in fear, from the way her body was tensed. Leading the way with her in his arm, he brought her to the base of the stairs where she could see something at least. "Are you alright?" he asked with his silken ringing voice while his eyes inspected for any sort of injury. "And what are you doing up at this hour?"

~Snow~ Snow clung to Ray when he picked her up. When he moved to where she could see she looked up at him. "I woke up and it was dark." She let her grip loosen slightly. "I'm afraid of the dark."

Ray gave her a small smile and a light squeeze, he had never anticipated a fear of the dark, which would make things rather interesting since only two rooms in the house had a hearth in them which could maintain light for longer periods of time. The lamps hardly lasted in these conditions, especially if it had to last her an entire night. "Well, I guess you will have to take my room then, since it is the only bed chamber with a hearth. I would be more then willing to offer it for you, Snow, I hardly sleep anyways. In the mean time, would you stay with me in the light of my study?" he asked motioning to the light emanating from the study where he was reading. It had a small couch, so he could always give her some sort of make shift bedding until he could prepare the room for her.
((Sorry for the delay, went out to fetch dinner and ended up spending some time with family XD))

~Snow~ Snow's eyes widened at his suggestion of giving her his room. "Oh, I couldn't take your room!" she said in a squeak as they moved to the study. "It wouldn't be fair." she said as she looked up at him, nearly tripping on the skirt of her dress.
