I noticed that there are 15 members in our guild but only 8 have posted on the forms. What do you think we should do to make the other members more active or make the guild more active? Please post all suggestions or comments that you think would help the guild grow and becomes more active. biggrin

Hm.... I'll just stab in the dark and suggest that if we made some Gaia-themed patterns and did a stitch-along it might bring a little more enthusianm into the guild's community. Maybe a topic for pattern reviews, and more polls just to perk people's interest in looking at topics.
I don't post in some of my guilds because I don't really have anything to add to them, but still feel that I want to represent them, or advertise them to anyone that stumbles upon my profile. It could be that more silent members feel the same or similar.

Could just be the time of year, a lot of busy people and little stitching...
*sigh* dunno
I'll carry around a pic and link in my sig when we get one/ if I have a chance to make one. Though I'm really not around any other spots on Gaia lately to be seen or to know how we can advertise. Can we send out notices to other of the craft forums? The guild promo forum is like a meat market...
Well, I'll be trying to think of any more ideas.

Hmm, I really like your idea for Gaia-themed patterns Scribbler. It would be awesome if you could make them of individual avatars or something. We would problem have to obtain permission from the administrators to do that though. Does anyone know how I can inquire about that? I also love the ideas of a stitch-along, however I don't know if we have enough people working on similar projects to do that yet. But if did do some patterns of our avies, that would be a great idea.
Moira, I also think it would help if we had something to put in our siggies to advertise around Gaia, however I have absolutely no skill with computer graphic design and my attempt would look like something a five-year old whipped up in Paint lol. Anyone have any suggestions? What it should look like, who I should ask to make it, etc.?

What it should look like, who I should ask to make it, etc.? actuly i relay dont think you need permission to make gaia theamed patters becouse it would be considered as fan art. thats why you dont have to gain permision to make a pattern for and anime. the only reason you would have to gain permission is if your usion someone elses work like i do for the patterns i make. but i love the idea if i actuly had skill and a good program i would make them. ive been trying to find someone to make a siggy for us but i cant realy find someone whos prices are resonable but can make a siggy that can suit the guilds personality.
