 A warm and sincere smile lingered on Seethe's face while he guided Miyori down a dusty trail which lead into the forest. As he traveled he was sure to stop and hold back any branches that could possibly scathe the lovely streya until she passed. Only once she was safe ahead he would let go of the branch gently and made his way to catch up with her, guiding her once again. He had taken this path many times in the past when he wished to be alone and had gotten to know it quite well.
He wasn't a creature who would embark on many journeys but had made his fair share since his time being here on Earth. His owner also contributed with his knowledge of the land and he learned various things about the creatures that roamed in the forest he grew to love.
Soon he turned to look at Miyori, who's painting like markings looked lovely under the dimmed light from the canopy of trees above. "Miyori, what do you know of forest animals?" He chuckled a bit. "Have you seen any since you've gotten here?" A slight tilt of the head showed his curiosity otherwise he remained quite composed.

Miyori followed the crimson colored streya called Seethe along the path he took her on. Mostly she was quiet, but that was most likely due to her never having seen anything that she was encountering before. "N-no. I don't know much about them. I suppose I'm what one could call ignorant. I've heard that there are lots and lots of them, and not a single one is the same as another. Just like Streya, right? that's what I've been told, anyways," was the quietly-spoken response to the former's question.
Miyori blushed slightly when she noticed that she was staring at Seethe, then looked away slightly. One thing was always certain about Miyori: she always tried her best not to make eye-contact, especially with someone she had just met and was being so kind to her.

"Ah yes, just like snowflakes that fall from the sky in the winter months to the Streya whom fell from the sky at some point in time." A soft chuckled escaped his lips. "Let's see what woodland creatures we are graced upon the chance of spotting, shall we?" Seethe nodded a bit and retook her hand, gently leading her further down the path.
As they walked he was sure to pay attention to any protruding branches which could bring harm to the beauty who was so kindly letting him spend time with her as well as any larger creatures his owner told him to beware. Those creatures were things such as wolves and coyotes which wouldn't give a streya a second glance before taking it down. Bears were almost as important to worry over but they seemed to be more docile than the ravenous beasts that hunted in packs.
His eyes widened in delight as a squirrel made its way down a tree, clinging to the bark and jumped to the ground, soon dashing off in attempts to find food. He pressed a finger to his lips, making a faint hushing sound. "Look over there..." He said in a soft voice, whispering, gesturing over to the squirrel. "That little one is known as a squirrel. We'll find many of them on our journey. They're rodents... And at times I wonder if we're related to them in some way..." He joked. "I've heard a few call these forms we have been blessed with rodents as well - winged ones. Anyways... these fuzzy little creatures feast upon nuts and berries, sometimes even food humans leave behind, such as bread."
He looked back at Miyori, smiling warmly. "Aren't they cute?"

Miyori giggled slightly. " Wow. They're so fluffy and cute.I've never seen anything like them before," she whispered excitedly, her two-tone eyes dancing with delight.
Following Seethe, Miyori was finally starting to understand what her owner meant when she had said that everything is more special when it's shared with someone. Her owner had always been more of a "lone wolf" and had not associated much with other humans, but had always delighted in sharing her experiances with Miyori since they had become aquainted. Miyori was always curious as to why her owner would always smile so happily when she saw her. Now she got it. Miyori was her someone to share things with.
'Maybe Seethe-san is my someone, then?' Miyori pondered as they walked further on. She had now been silent for quite some time, lost deep in thought and staring at Seethe's back.
"So unique..." Miyori mumbled quietly, eyes seeming to look on forever into the distance, yet straight at Seethe at the same time.

Seethe carried on down the path slowly. It was a relief to know that the other Streya was enjoying herself - sometimes he considered himself to be too boring and he couldn't help but wonder if he was boring the other. But now that fear began to fade, she was enjoying herself... right? When silence overtook the moment Seethe scanned the area for more woodland animals, wondering what caused the oddity of silence.
"Miyori, look over there." He spoke softly with a smile on his face. "That's a rabbit. A distant relative of the squirrel. These creatures are commonly found as pets for creatures like our owners. I've always wanted to pet one." He chuckled.
His tail swayed a bit as he spoke. Out of the corner of his eye he watched the beautiful star-painted streya. He was determined to make their journey a joyful and unforgettable one.

Miyori jumped slightly in surprise. She hadn't realised that she'd been zoning out so intently. Blushing yet again, Miyori looked at the fluffy creature pointed out to her.
"A rabbit? It seems so soft..." With out thinking, Miyori slowly and quietly walked over to the fluff-ball and knelt by it.
"Hi there," she murmured, reaching out to pet it. The small rabbit jumped slightly in surprise, much like Miyori had done only a moment before, but stayed where it was.
Holding out her hand to it, Miyori turned back to Seethe, giggling. "Seethe-san, come and pet it. It's so soft." She giggled again as the bunny sniffed her hand. Gently as she could, and slowly so as not to alarm it, she reached out her other hand and softly picked up the small creature, carrying it over to Seethe.
"It's so tiny. Does that mean it's only a baby?" Miyori questioned, tilting her head slightly while stroking it's fur. "You can pet it, too, Seethe-san."

Seethe reached out to stop Miyori but refrained, pulling his hand back. His eyes widened with a bit of shock as the small rabbit didn't run but remained by Miyori. He heard that they usually run away from strange larger animals to avoid being harmed, which he could understand. Especially if a lot of those strange larger animals were humans with guns...
A frown creased his lips but soon he shook his head, slowly stepping closer when he was called upon. "Ah, careful now... Let us not scare it too much." He smiled once again and watches the rabbit as Miyori approached him.
"It seems to be a young one. Maybe not a baby but just old enough to embark on its own journey in life." Reaching out he gently petted the rabbit, scratching behind its ears, smiling a bit more. "It is soft... Very comforting as well."

Miyori smiled at Seethe. "Just like me, then, right? I'm just starting my journey, too." She then looked down at the rabbit nessled in her arms. "I wonder if it has any friends yet?" she mused quietly. "That would be sad if it didn't..." A slight frown crossed her face.
"Seethe-san, do you have many friends? Forgive me if I'm being too forward, but it's just that you seem so distant, like you keep to yourself a lot. I don't know much about others, but I can tell that you're a very kind person and I want to get to know you better. I think that you're really wonderful. You agreed to take me on a journey when you'd never seen me before, and I think that just shows how incredible you are."
Miyori smiled softly and looked away slightly blushing, fearing that she had just scared away her first friend with her emotional intensity.

Seethe nodded. "Ah, yes, you both are on your own journey. Say... How about you take the small rabbit home with you so you two can carry on a journey together so you won't be alone?" He smiled and looked around, seeing no other rabbits around. Chances are it was alone and by the looks of it, the rabbit would need the loving care of another. After all, the chances of it surviving within its first few months away from its mother is slim as a predator might get it.
"Friends...?" He frowned at the thought. Seethe wasn't lucky enough to be graced with such people. He had only met one or two other Streya outside of his owner's group and nothing amounted from that. "Sadly, I do not have many. Acquaintances - there are a few. But friends? None."
He lifted his gaze to meet Miyori's and blinked as she looked away. "Will you give me the honor of being your friend, my lady?"

Miyori blinked in surprise. "I would love to be your friend, Seethe-san. And the honor is all mine! It would make me very happy if we were friends. I think you're very interesting."
Miyori smiled happily at finally finding someone to spend time with. The little rabbit tilted its head to the side as if to ask for friendship for itself, too. Giggling, Miyori nodded to it. "Of course, little one. I'll be your friend, too. The more the merrier, right?"
She then turned to Seethe, smiling gently. "Will you be its friend, too?"

Seethe smiled happily as the other accepted his request to befriend one another. Finally, in this vast world he had someone he could honestly call a friend. That was a wonderful feeling. He wondered if the small rabbit and Miyori felt the same as he nodded. "Of course I will be the little one's friend."
Reaching out he petted the rabbit gently, his eyes gazing up to meet Miyori's. "Have you thought of a name for your new friend here?" He chuckled, curious to see what she'd come up with.

Miyori looked up in thought. "Hmmm...I'm not sure yet. He's quite the cutie and he's pure white, so, ummm. Hm....Ah, I know! How about Tsuki? It means moon, and I once heard that people in a distant country don't see the man in the moon, but instead, they see a rabbit pounding mochi."
Miyori giggled in delight as the little rabbit twitched its ears upon hearing the name, as if in recognition. "What do you think, Seethe?"

Seethe pondered for a moment and ended with a content smile. "I think it's a lovely name, and suits our new friend quite well. And by the looks of it, he seems to like the name." He reached out again and gently petted Tsuki behind the ears. "Right, little one?"

Miyori giggled as the small bunny twitched its ear slightly while getting pet by Seethe. He always seemed so gentle. Did it come naturaly to him? Miyori had been pondering this for a small while now, wishing she knew the answer.
"Seethe? I don't mean to seem rude, but why is it that you are always so kind? I'm not sure that I could always be as kind and gentle as you are. I admire that, you know," she confessed. Miyori, though considered an adult, was still quite young and thus didn't know how to handle many things.

Seethe pondered the question for a short while before allowing his warm smile to take his face. "Ah, you see, I feel no reason to be mean spirited or rough when around others. And personally, I believe it doesn't get you anywhere in life quicker than if you were kind."
Reaching over he patted Miyori on the head. "You know, you're quite polite yourself. Gentle too. If you weren't chances are Tsuki would fidget in your arms and want to run away. Animals are the best indicators of someone's spirit."
