Regency
The French Revolution had begun, gone was the splendor of the Rococo style. Instead it was replaced by the most unusual change in all of history. Gone were corsets, hoop skirts, and petticoats. These objects of restraint were replaced by soft free flowing dresses with short sleeves, high waists and straight skirts. This simplistic style only lasted for less than thirty years, but is thought by some to be the most appealing to the modern sense of style. We at MMC are happy to provide you with delightful renditions of this charming era.
Please keep the posts in this thread relevant to Regency fashion.
