Rococo
In our next segment of time French fashion reigns supreme. It was the time of pomp and ceremony when the royalty of France led their court in such extreme style that it was the talk of the world for over a century. Men's clothing became so colorful that the women began to feel threatened. So to subdue their male rivals, they tightened their corsets, extended their skirts so wide that they had to turn sideways to fit through doors, and raised their hair to outrageous heights. In spite of how uncomfortable these women might of been, they did succeed in creating one of the most memorable time periods in all of history. Not all women could afford to mimic the French court. For instance colonial America had a much simpler version of the Rococo style. MMC offers both of these lovely designs.
