"Well," Thanos said dryly, eyes darting from the lighted stairs to the dark path veering off to his right and back again. "This is interesting."
"I'll have to agree," Nite said curtly, coming up beside the dark male. "Any... preference?" he asked, uncertain. This was uncharted territory, or so he was told. The lighted staircase did look much safer, especially with the heavenly connotation, but looks could be decivieng. (After all, someone must have put up the lights, and apparently, none of the staff had come in here.)
Thanos cocked his head inquisitivly. Then, a smile suddenly lighting his face, he headed towards the stairs and started up the steps. "It's bright, so it must be safer, right?" he called down to Nite enthusiastically.
Nite shook his head, but it wasn't as if he had any proof to deny the male. "All right... I'll go this way, then, I guess." he murmured, turning towards the path.

Thanos- The digitalness coating your body reflects some of the light around you. Heading down the 'safer' way you soon trip and land face first in a pile of cobwebs in the pile after the stairs.
#- Investigate [Randomize 1-12] #- Eat the cobwebs, it could be cotton candy~ #- Ignore it and leave it be.
Nite- Heading down the dark path, you follow the length down until you reach an intersection. An odd wailing reaches your ears, coming from the left path, the dark path. The right path is light and the noise isn't from there.
#- Go right. #- Go left.

Thanos was merrily whistling a tune, believing he had taken the better path. He was surprised Nite hadn't come with him, but he didn't really have a problem with it. Not that he disliked the male or anything. It was more of a... I-don't-want-witnesses-if-I-do-something-stupid sort of thing. As soon as he thought that, he promptly fell flat on his face, and -- even better -- on a pile of cobwebs.
He stood quickly, brushed the webs off, and looked around to assure himself that no one was near enough to have seen, coughing a few times until the dust settled. He patted the area near the now broken web cautiously, wondering where the large, killer spider was. Curiousity overpowering common sense, he nosed the remains of the web to investigate.
Nite followed the path, his senses on high alert. Anybody (or anything, for that matter) could easily hide in the darkness penetrating the path.
After a while, his eyes grew used to the dark, and he paused, now faced with another forking path. There was an odd wailing to his left, and, although he would have preferred to go right to balance out his choices (first the more sinister path, then the less sinister, right?), it wasn't like him to ignore cries of help (or at least noises that sounded like cries of help) so, (much to Luu's dissappointment), he went left.

Thanos- There was no large, killer spider...but something more interesting. You've found a piece of a bowl amidst the sticky cobwebs, congratulations! You continue down the path after tucking it away and soon you are faced with a decision...or rather, three. To your left is the path, and if you go forwards, there's a little alcove...and to your right...a dead end...but even dead ends can have interesting things. Which do you choose?
#- Left path! Swing those paws! #- Forwards, wondering if there's something in the alcove. #- Go to the right...dead ends can be interesting! #- Sit off to the side and stroke the piece of a bowl. Your preeeecioussssss~
Nite- It isn't long before you encounter another choice in your wailing darkness. A path directly to your right seems to lead nowhere in particular...but otherwise, your only other choice is to go forwards and around the corner. Which will it be?
#- Check out this path to your immediate right. #- Try and block your ears. MAN, that wailing is getting loud! #- Keep walking, and go around the corner further up.

Thanos eyed the strange, cracked piece of bowl warily. He wasn't worried about where it came from. This was the basement of a ramen shop, after all. It was just that... it could have pointy edges... very pointy edges. But who knew when he might have to defend himself, and a shattered bowl piece could save his life?
So, rescuing it quickly from its cage of webs, he tucked it away and continued down the path, occasionally holding the shard of bowl threateningly in the air, just in case a stranger decided to pop out.
He nodded approvingly at the bowl piece, glad it was scaring away his enemies (as he had yet to encounter any), and was about to sit off to the side and stroke it when it fell from his grasp and slid forward towards the alcove. He followed after it quickly, hoping it didn't break.
Nite sighed, rearranging his hat as he was faced with another fork. By then, the wailing had gotten so loud he couldn't tell where it was coming from. Taking a wild guess, he went forward, and around the corner (wondering if Ryu loved Thanos more, because Thanos's post was much larger than his own o _o).

Thanos- You wield your shard of justice in the name of your personal safety. You pass several tapestries in the alcove finding your shard embedded in one directly in the head of a character. BOOM HEADSHOT is written above this, you pocket your shard and find a chest at the end.
#- See if your shard doubles as a gun. #- Open the chest! [Randomize 1-12] #- LEAVEEE.
Nite- You feel so deprived from your master's love. How can the crazy one get more love? You walk a ways until you reach an intersection. The wailing has become crying and wailing and you swear you hear gunshots from the right here. A maiden in danger?!? The left is soundless and peaceful.
#- Save the poor lady, right! #- Leave her to her peruses. left!

Thanos rushed up to catch the shard, eyes darting left and right distractedly as he looked at the tapestries. By the time he looked back for the shard, it had embedded itself into the head of a character. He wondered how that could happen, but didn't think much of it. Why would he, when there was a chest just begging to be opened?
He went up to the chest, deciding to open it first, look around, take stuff (if there was anything in the first place), close it, climb it, get the shard, and then flee. Then look for an exit.
Nite, upon discovering he was heading in the right direction, quickened his pace. It sounded as if someone (hopefully a maiden) was in danger, if the sounds were anything to go by. Not one to leave one in need, he took a right.
