Palutena looked toward the entrances and gave a side long glance at her father. "You know if we split up we will cover more ground."

Meta knight let out a small growl, "We're also weaker seperated, wo go together." Heading toward the darker entrance, "Follow me!"

Meta Knight didn't even bother to look behind him, sure his daughter would follow. How little did he know his own daughter since as soon as Meta Knight disapeared down the darker route, Palutena entered the more brightly light one. "Like I wanted to follow a dark path anyway."

Meta- Your tactics have failed and your wayward daughter has left you. Well, there's no going back now as you descend into the earth. You walk for a while until you reach an intersection.
There is no way to tell the two ways apart.

#- Go right.
#- Go left.

Palutena- You ignore your father and take the stairs, going alone is the best way to live another day. You reach the end of the stairs and trip over a block of misplaced wood, landing in cobwebs.

#- Investigate [Randomize 1-12]
#- Ignore it and continue.

Meta Knight looked behind him and cursed, of all the stupid things Palutena could have done, this was one of the biggest ones. He blamed Pit simple because he was sure she didnt get that part of her personality from him. Angry and worried, Knight stormed down the left path hoping to find his way back to his daughter somehow.

Palutena cursed and quickly got her self out of the cobwebs, trying to get the sticky strands off her as quickly as possible. There was no way she wanted to bother with them any longer then she had to. Cobwebs could have spiders in them and she hated spiders. Straitening out her tunic, Palutena continued on her way, just a bit more carefully. No need to trip on anything else if she didn't have too.

Meta- You descend into deeper darkness and the temperature drops a few degrees. You round a corner and walk a while before reaching a split in the road. To the right is the sound of dripping water while the left has no uniqueness to it.

#- Go right.
#- Go left.

Palutena- The spiders cry now that you ruined their home. You reach a point with three ways you can go.

#- Go left.
#- Go right.
#- Go forward.

Meta Kight was becoming more and more annoyed as he walked, and by the time he hit the split in the road he was moving rather quickly. Not giving much thought to his decision, Knight stormed to the right were the water could be heard.

Palutena sat for a moment stairing at the three paths, nothing really set them apart so Palutena shruged and walked strait ahead, no point in turning is she didn't have to.

Meta- You choose the path sounding like there was water dripping, and it's a much shorter span of time than your last journey before you are confronted with three choices: to your left, the smell of old gravedirt gets stronger, straight ahead there is still the faint sound of dripping, and to your right, there is more darkness.

#- Old, musty graves it is! You choose the left path.
#- Continue to follow the sound of the water. You're thirsty, darnit! Getting mad left you with a dry throat needing to be quenched.
#- Follow the darkness, the right is the most promising path!

Palutena- There is a faint light ahead, and a dimly lit alcove. There isn't much here. Some broken wine glasses covered in dust, some rags...and a chest in the far corner, but no way out except the way you came. There is no lock on the chest, and it doesn't seem to have been disturbed recently. What do you do?

#- Open the chest, of course! There might be something of use inside! [Randomize 1 - 12]
#- Stomp your paws irritatedly and leave, totally ignoring the chest.
#- Sit down and have an imaginary party. There's so many wineglasses around, you have a whole court of followers!

Knight's thoat did feel a little partched but he wasn't in the mood to settle for a drink. He was still mad and the musty grave could have zombies, and what better way to spend his time then fighting the undead. With the that thought in his head Knight turned left. MUSTY GRAVES HERE I COME!

Palutena eyes went wide at the wine glasses and finding the least broken glasses, cleaned them up and set them up in a row. Taking her own glass in hand...er paw, Paluten closed her eyes and danced around pretending to be a princess at a ball.

Knight- It seems as though you are the first to trod this path. There is a thick layer of dust underfoot, but this is a good thing. Nobody having come this way meant there was more for you to discover first. You soon come upon your next choice. The path to the left goes deeper, while the path to the right seems to curve the way you could have gone if you had chosen the straight path before.

#- Left.
#- Right.

User Image Palutena- While dancing and being the fairest of them all at your ball, a ghostly form appears, lounging on the trunk. His green eyes are bright, but he does not threaten you, or seem threatening. This Ghost is the Maze's guardian, and he seems weary--unknown to you, he had a tough fight when someone tried to have three people in the maze. He smiles, watching you twirl around.

"My dear, while this time surely must be relaxing, you must choose what you do from here. Will you look in the chest beneath me, or will you carry on your way?" His voice seems to form itself inside your mind, as if he didn't actually wish to speak out loud.

#- Raise your wineglass in a toast, but keep dancing.
#- Check the chest. [ Randomize 1 - 12 ]
#- Sigh and exit this small chamber you had so much fun in, and carry on.

Knight looked at the paths, he chose the path he did for a reason and he wasn't about to change his mind. Deciding to see what could be found deeper, Meta knight headed to his left.

With only a slight start, Palutena quickly turned around to spot the ghostly fox. Giving him a flirty smile, Palutena raised her wine glass in toast, "But I was having such fun. I do love dancing." glancing at him slyly, "of corse it's more fun if you have a partner."

Knight- You choose to head deeper, and soon you come across three choices. To your left and right seems to be dead ends, but surely something might be worthwhile to explore, while the path ahead of you continues to go on.

#- Take the right path and investigate. [ Randomize 1 - 12 ]
#- Keep heading forwards.
#- Take the left path and shove your hand into some vines. [ Randomize 1 - 12 ]

User ImagePalutena- His expression cools somewhat, hardening just around the edges, and a soft, dangerous edge slinks into his mental voice. "I would not wish harm to befall you, my dear, but if you want a dance partner...I highly doubt our ideas of dance are similar." There is the edge of a threat to his voice; he's not fooling around. What will you choose?

#- Ask him once more--you're the princess, after all!
#- Walk forwards to investigate the chest. [ Randomize 1 - 12 ]
#- Acknowledge the possible threat and leave the room.
#- Taunt him.

Knight ignores all else and simply presses foward, wanting to find out what was deeper in this maze.

Palutena's eyes narrow at the tone of the strangers voice, a slow smirk appearing on her face. "Perhaps not, I like both versions of dancing." Tilts her head to the side as she eyes him assessing him as a threat, "I wasn't bothering anyone but if you have issues with my original style of dancing then we can change it to something else."

User Image Palutena- His green eyes sharpen upon you and he growls, low and threatening. Obviously, he didn't take kindly to her reaction.

"Then if you prefer we dance...we shall." He purrs out before floating from the chest. He knows well he's in no condition to fight after fighting with the trio in the maze...but he wasn't one to back down from threats! He lunges, attempting to strike the first hit..!

Palutena quickly tosses the wine glass away from herself as the ghostly figure attacked, growling Palutena takes the blow only to quickly counter attack. Teeth bared, Palutena lunges at the Guardians throat.

User Image Palutena- The guardian smirked, leaping lightly out of the way, but still receiving a good cut. Purring, he flared his wings and growled at the female. He was substantial enough to take hits...and he could dish them back out. Despite his aching wing joints, he took to the air and dived at the female he was 'dancing' with, fangs bared and ready to snap at whatever flesh he could.

Giving in to the urge, Palutena grinned, enjoying the fight. Rolling to the side away from the gaurdians snapping jaws, Palutena was not as fast as she would like since he managed to get in a decent bite to her front leg. Getting to her feet, she quickly went on the offensive taking to the air to attack from above.
