Saspra stared at the two paths trying to decide which one would be the better choice. She'd seen all the classic horror movies so she knew that both would be equally dangerous and that she shouldn't just assume that the safest looking path was indeed the safest. With a sigh she turned to Tsuna to wait and see which path he would choose. He was the braver of the two, or so she thought.

When Tsuna stared down the two paths he immediately knew which one he wanted to take. Of course, not having watched as many horror movies as Saspra he wanted to go for the lighter path. As he took a step further he remembered Reborn's parting words before he left on this journey. He'd be watching him and surely Reborn would make his life hell if he chose the easier looking path. "I'll go with the darker looking path", he said reluctantly.

Saspra sighed in relief that he had chose the scarier looking one, though of course, they both would be scary no doubt. "I'll go with the lighter one. It's better if we split up cause we'll cover more ground.", she said setting off in the direction of the normal path, bidding a farewell to Tsuna as he set down the darker path.

Tsuna- You brave soul, heading for the darker path with the threat of your tiny mentor's torment. The path is long and hintingly steep in a downwards direction. You head unhindered down the hall until you reach an intersection. One way seems much safer and brightly lit, it's the right path with the cinnamon smell.
The left path continues to be dark with no real change and doesn't have a feeling of safety or danger.

#- Go left.
#- Go right.

Saspra- You are the stair-master! You take stairs by charge after waving goodbye to your spiky haired compatriot. But your reign of the staircase soon ends as you come to a hallway. On the way through you trip on a block of wood and miss landing in the cobwebs. Unobstructed you stare at the cobwebs and try to decide if something is hiding in there.

#- Investigate [Randomize 1-12]
#- Leave it be and continue on.

Tsuna blinked and stared down the cinnamon-scented path. He was practically drooling from the delicious aroma that wafted up his nostrils. He looked behind him trying to see if the little, yet deadly hitman was following him, however the darkness hindered his vision and something in him just told him that going down the right path would truly prove to be more dangerous than the left path. Besides, this basement could never offer horrors worst than the ones Reborn made him face right? Shaking his head a little at his own paranoia Tsuna headed for the left path.

'Oh yeah! I'm so owning these stairs!', Saspra thought just before karma struck. With a loud thud she crashed in to a nearby corner full of cobwebs! "What the hell?! Is the world seriously out to get me?!", she cried out in despair all the while knowing that the only other person in this messed up basement was probably too far away to hear. With a sigh she peered further into the cobwebs despite what her best instincts told her and decided that while she was here why not rummage around? The worst that could happen would probably be some poisonous spider biting her and killing her slowly - which, with her luck was definitely possible - so, with a sigh she rummaged around the webs in hopes of finding something good. Like candy! Poisoned candy.

Tsuna- Nothing pops up at you... so far... as you take the dark path once again. There's a path leading off to the right to be explored or you can continue forward and around a corner.

#- Go forward.
#- Go right.

Saspra- Nothing poisonous strikes and nothing is in the pile of cobwebs. On the bright side, the dust isn't poisoned so you'll live from the fine coating of it on your clothes. You stand up, brush off, and reach the end of the hallway. There are three choices here. All well lit, but none that you can see the end of. The path ahead has tapestries, while to the left you feel a warm breeze, and the right seems cold.

#- Go left.
#- Go right.
#- Go forward.

Tsuna blinked as he walked down the path, glad for the lack of surprises down this turn. He looked forward and to the side before deciding that he'd continue going forward. Best to continue now since the phrase did go, 'danger lurks down every corner'. Maybe it'd be in effect in this basement too.

Saspra was both glad and disappointed at the lack of something in the webs. She'd gone and gotten herself covered in the stupid things for nothing then! With a sigh she wandered down to the end of the hallway before encountering the three hallways. She'd never been fond of tapestries so the path ahead was out of the question so she decided to go down the left path. Who knows, there might even be some meadow-like thing there. Even though this was still a basement after all.

Tsuna- This road leads you to a snake's tounge split in the row. To the right is a shorter way, while the left continues on further somewhere. Along the way something gets caught in your plume of hair.

#- Brush your hair. [Randomize 1-12]
#- Go left.
#- Go right.

Saspra- The leftwards way ends shortly at another cross in your road. Nothing is straightforward here, is it? To the right is where the light comes from. While the left fades back to dim.

#- Go left.
#- Go right.

Tsuna blinked as something got caught in his hair. "What the---?", he paused and decided that he could continue this journey later. For now, getting whatever had fallen into his hair would be top priority. So with that he sat down and brushed his paws through his hair.

Saspra looked both to her right and to her left. She was slightly disappointed that there hadn't been anything really good in this path. With a sigh she padded to the left side. It was darker there and didn't Tsuna go down a dark path? Perhaps she could even meet up with him again!

Tsuna- Brusing your hair still leaves you empty handed, and you seriously wonder if something crawled in there. There is, in fact, nothing there. Best not let paranoia get the best of you. Your route at the moment leads to the right and a suspicious looking dead end, while continuing forward leads to a large intersection. The air is the same here as its been for a while.

#- Continue forward.
#- Investigate right.

Saspra- Taking yourself left brings you to another road. One path to the right that seems to be a dead end, and to the left a moderately dark path that continues for as far as the eye can see.

#- Go left.
#- Go right.

Tsuna wondered if what he felt had just been his imagination. After all, there was nothing in his hair... Or so he thought. With a shake of his head he decided to investigate around the area. Besides, this way he could look for possible items before continuing anyway.

Saspra blinked. Going right clearly wouldn't be a smart idea seeing as how it was a dead end... Then again, there may even have been something hidden there that she was missing. With a sigh she went to the clearly darker path of the left.

Tsuna- While you hadn't heard it before, the moment you head to the right, a croaking sound reaches your ears. If you continue onwards, you come across a frog on a wicker basket. He sneers at you and croaks out a string of tough-sounding ribbits, effectively telling you off. But what if something is in the wicker basket. Will you attempt to coax him off of it, or will you turn around and go on your way..?

#- Try to coax him off it.
#- Attempt to pick it up and toss the frog away. Eww, frogs.
#- Turn around and head the other way.

Saspra- You soon come to your next paths to choose from. To your immediate right, the path immediately plunges into darkness; just off that path there is a small alcove with a shiny yellow crystal on top of a silver pedestal; ahead the path continues to dim; and to your immediate left, there's a wall...could be good for a punch.

#- Take the path that plunges you into darkness.
#- Ouuu, shiny crystal! Try and take it!
#- Continue on straight.
#- Go punch the wall for being so smug! [ Randomize 1 - 12 ]

Tsuna frowned at the racket the little frog was making. And the fact that it was a dark basement only made the frog's insistent croaking seem more ominous than it originally should've been. He was about to leave when he noticed the wicker basket for the first time. Like really notice it. He blinked and pondered what could possibly be inside. The thought of picking up the frog absolutely disgusted him so the only way would be to coax the stupid thing off.

Saspra stared down all the hallways. None of them seemed very pleasant. She immediately decided that she wouldn't go down the path to the right. The hallway she was currently in was already dark enough to give her nightmares for weeks, so going down the darker wouldn't be good. She stared at the crystals for a good long moment as well. She edged towards them before stopping in her tracks. Shiny crystals such as the ones before her were common lures for big booby traps, right? "Well her goes nothing!", she exclaimed to no one in particular as she punched the wall to her left with as much force as she could muster.

Tsuna- The frog croaks and whips out a pair of glasses and a cigar. He seems to be impatiently waiting to be shown some respect, and he taps his webbed foot against the wicker basket.

#- Try and coax him off.
#- Attack and try to wrest the basket from beneath him!
#- Decide it's not worth it and leave.

Saspra- You must have hit that wall with some force, because an unlit torch dislodges itself from the ceiling above - what the hell?! - and lands on your head. OUCH! ...oh well, you snatch it up, and you still have your decision to make.

#- Try and take the crystal!
#- Take the path that leads to dimmer light.
#- Take the path that plunges into darkness.

Tsuna stared incredulously at the frog before him. This was completely beyond all that he had expected to happen. However, he still refused to give up now. If he did, wouldn't all the time he'd wasted here with the frog have gone to waste? With a sigh he tried to coax the thing off once more. "H-hey, what if I gave you ten dollars?", he reasoned, mentally slapping himself for trying to bribe a frog with money of all things. If the frog still refused to get off would he try to resort to violence? Was the wicker basket really worth it?

Saspra held back the forming tears and various cuss words as the torch from above fell on her head. She muttered beneath her breath before picking up the torch and stashing it in her pocket. Perhaps she'd find a match somewhere down the road and then the torch could really prove to be handy. With a sigh she went for the crystal. She'd always been a glutton for punishment, and perhaps that would even end up to be her downfall in this endless basement.
