"Why the heck am I doing this? I hate haunted mazes and zombies and stuff..."

"Maybe because it's better than doing homework? Or sitting on your a** all day in front of a computer? I know you do that!"

"... Right..." Piney decided that it was about time to shut up and pick which way to go. Well, there's the stairs that goes down into the ground. Or the darker path that leads to the right. Being decisive was never her strong point, so she'll just take the route that the mentally unstable noodle doesn't.

"Dude! You can't do that!" Deadpool exclaimed. "What if I need a meat shield? Or bait? Or a damsel in distress to rescue? You know it's no fun for me to go alone!"

"Oh, quit your whining and just pick which way to go already." Piney was getting tired of him already and they haven't even begun yet.

"Fine! But don't blame me if you get eaten by a giant alien squid and I wasn't there to save you!" The red and black fox huffed and turned towards the darker path veering right. "I'm going that way. See you on the other side, sucker!"

"Whatever." Piney sighed and started to climb down the stairs, hoping that at least some good would come out of this.

Nothing scary so far. That was a good sign. But now Piney had to choose between three different paths... and she was really bad at choosing.

Though, this decision would be easier because one of the paths was lit up a bit. That must lead to something. She cautiously walked towards the left path, hoping that she wasn't a moth about to be burned by the fire.

Deadpool was disappointed that there was no monsters yet to kill, or babes to save, or minions to recruit. Instead, laying in front of him, was a fork. Danmit, when was he going to get to the good stuff? If this what all the maze was, he would have to create his own excitement.

Then accidently kill someone, get into a lawsuit, loose all of his hard earned money... alright fine. He'll be patient. Figuring that the darker path must hold something nasty, he turned to the left and started walking.

Whoopie, another decision to make. Glad to not have stumbled into a fire or anything, Piney decided to continue going right, and see what's been lighting her path. It must be something important. Riiiiight?

Deadpool was getting sick of this. Yeah, it's been only two turns or so, but in any good maze, something would've happened so far. The time he spent stuck in this stupid place could be used for something better... like watching TV. Or eating chimmichangas.

Muttering something foul to himself, he decided to go right and see what that dead end was all about.

((Right path = Dead end right? XD; ))

Thankfully there were no more paths to make a decision at. Piney could feel that she was getting close to whatever was illuminating this passage... and by golly she was going to press on! Why did she bother to come all this way if she wasn't going to see this to the end?

Ooh. A broken wall. That always meant something interesting. Deadpool poked it a couple times to see if it would disintegrate with his touch.

It didn't. What a bummer. But it actually felt like real stone, and not some crummy plaster thing that mazes tended to have!

Compelled by his curiousity, he decided to stick his paw in that crevasse and see if he'd find anything. Hopefully money.

Just as she was going to step into the light, another glimmer of light caught her eye. Piney turned towards it and was delighted to see a red crystal.

Ooh! Shiny! She must have! Well, she was a little cautious as to what the heck it exactly was, but what's the worse it can do? So she lunged towards it, determine to get the crystal.

Beads. He stuck his paw into a mysterious crevice, risking life and limb, but he only got some stupid beads. What a joke.

Someone must have lost this though. Maybe he can sell it back to whoever did. That thought made him smile a bit.

But now he had to choose which way to go... It wasn't going to be easy. So he pulled out his sword and gave it a whirl. It spun around for a few seconds before pointing to the left route when it stopped.

Ok. He'll go to the left. The sword never lied, so why should it now?

Awww crap. Piney should've gone with going ahead or something. With a loud 'umph', she landed on a big pile of golden coins, much to her surprise.

Well, this actually might be better than the light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel thing. She examined the treasures she suddenly found, and fingered one or two pieces of them.

But she decided that it was best to leave this stuff alone, since she had already been screwed around with one shiny thing today. Piney stood up, shivering a bit as she sensed someone or something... And it wasn't a good feeling either.

"Hello? Anyone there?" She called out, trying to figure out what the heck was going on.

Looks like there's going to be some action after all? Deadpool stared eagerly at the skeleton, expecting it to come alive and have an epic swordfight.

It didn't. Booo.

Whatever killed him though, it must be pretty interesting. Better than mindless wandering. Besides, he had his weapons and stuff... He should be alright.

So Deadpool took the right path, whistling One Winged Angel cause he had a sudden urge to.

Awesome, Deadpool was finally getting somewhere! He couldn't help but let a wide grin creep onto his face, even when a evil looking noodle was standing right in front of him.

"Wrath smath! What makes you different than all those other baddies I've killed?" Deadpool shouted back. "Still, this should be fun. It's been a while since I've been able to shed some evil blood!"

With that, he pulled out his sword and lept at the noodle, after sustaining a minor wound of his own.

Deadpool raised his sword to block the claws and fangs, but the demon still got a nasty swipe in. Blood was starting to seep from the new wound, but he didn't care. He was having too much fun to stop.

"Quiet and mysterious type?" He asked. "It works well with women, I give you that. But for combat? It's more epic if you're screaming and snarling curses and death threats. Trust me!"

After that little spiel, he lunged at his opponent again.
