Arbiter- Being the brave one you head off down the darker path. You continue in the dim amount of light allowed you to find your way a bit until you come to a choice. You can head left and continue in the dim light that seems to fade as it goes along or head right and go to the increasing luminescence.
#- Go right. #- Go left.
Sheriff- After insulting your dear alien friend, you head for the staircase in the opposite way. You descend down into the earth and head down the hallway you find after that. You trip hallway through the hallway and land in front of a pile of cobwebs.
#- Investigate [Randomize 1-12] #- Ignore it and continue on.

Arbiter looks left and right, examining each choice carefully. "Whatever is in the dark better be prepared to run." he says with a smirk on his face. He turns left and walks into the darkness with his alien eyes glancing around for trouble
"Wow...weird place. Ooh look. New room." I say as I look around the room to see if there is anything interesting.

Arbiter- The darkness deepens as the temparture takes a slight drop. You arrive at another fork. Here you can go right and arrive at what could be a dead end or continue forward around a bend.
#- Go right. #- Go forward.
Shieriff- Messing with the cobwebs... you get nothing but cobwebs. Dissapointed, you walk on and arrive at an spilt in the path. You have three ways to go and mysteriously there seems to be no differences in the ways.
#- Go right. #- Go left. #- Go forward.

Arbiter looks forward, then right. "Who knows what lies beyond the corner, and it's best not to leave any stone unturned" He takes a right to venture down what he thinks is a dead end hall
I look at my three option and analyze for a moment. "Well. Like my dad always said, 'Push forward no matter the cost!'". I chuckle to myself and move forwards

Arbiter- Taking the dead end leads you to a very nondescript wall. There is a large crack in it.
#- Investigate [Randomize 1-12] #- Turn back.
Shieriff- Forward leads you to a dead end. But! There is an unlocked chest at the end!

I look at the dead end. I sigh, then look at the chest. "Nothing ventured, nothing gain." I say as I investigate the chest

Arbiter- Unfortunately, all your investigation was for naught. You come away empty-handed, but none-the-worse-for-wear. Might as well go back out and around the next corner...but be prepared for the long and agonizingly boring, dark, dank walk ahead. Later on...you come upon a break in the path. Both ways seem identical...there's really not a lot of light to see by. Right or left?
#- Take the right path. #- Veer to the left path.
Sheriff- You open the chest and find..! ...nothing. Nothing but dust. Well...it might have been nothing ventured, nothing gained...but in this case it was chances taken...nothing gained. Turn back around...your choices are the light path...or the path to the wall.
#- ...hmm...a wall? Sure, why not. "Nothing ventured, nothing gained", right? [Randomize 1 - 12] #- Eh, it was a waste of time last time...let's go to the light.

Arbiter- The right path leads you to a very sage looking frog in Kamina glasses. He greets you like a Yakuza member does his subordinates. He then motions for you to bow to him from atop his wicker basket throne while pulling out a large cigar.
#- Ambush and overtake the frog for his goods. #- Feel violently insulted upon your honor and beat up the darn thing. #- Don't care, leave.
Sheriff- Looking at it does nothing for you until.... a... well nothing pops out. Well you have no goddarned luck do you?
So you go to the light path after cursing the wall to it's 12th ancestor. From here you can go dimmer to the left or brighter to the right.
#-Left #- right.

Arbiter frowning at the frog's insolence, he whipped out his energy sword and beat up the stupid frog
I sigh as my terrible luck continues to press and walk to my right. After all, I don't have night vision

Arbiter- The gangster frog has skills and dodges your every attempt like some sort of martial arts leader. He tosses the cigar in your face and then leaves you to his basket as he escapes down a hole in the floor. The cigar splits and you see a paper with words written on it. Train harder and you may beat me one day youngster.
#- Open the basket. [Randomize 1-12] #- Drop a plasma grenade in the hole for measure and revenge. #- Leave.
Sheriff- Taking that way like a cop on the loose leads you to a dead end in front with something at the end and the light source to the right.
#-forward. #- right.

grumbling, Arbiter decides to let his rage go for now and investigate the basket
I sigh and look ahead. "Guess I can try my flashlight, don't see how it will help me" I say as I pull it out and move forward

Arbiter- It seems the frog was better than you in every way. There is nothing in the basket, and the frog is most likely long gone, so there can be no retribution. Continue back down the path, and you come across three choices. To the left, the smell of gravedirt arises, ahead there is a mixture of smells, and to the right, there is more darkness. But what is that on the floor?
#- Investigate what is on the floor. [ Randomize 1 - 10 ] #- Choose the left path. #- Go forwards. #- Go right.
Sheriff- You come upon a lumpy bundle of cloth. Dare to investigate it? That rotten luck might turn around yet.
#- Investigate! [ Randomize 1 - 12 ] #- Turn back.
Please Note! If both choose to investigate, simply roll two, 12-sided dice.
