Vanessa walked towards the two entrances, as far as she could from her housemate. "And why do we have to do this again? I mean, its not like we volunteered to be here together." She sat down, licking her claws from any dirt tht may have gotten under them as they walked through the basement.
Bria sighed. "We're here because we were volunteered, just without our own consent. Now shut up so i can decide where to go." She looked at the two options laid out before her. The dark path looked very inviting indeed, not. And the Light path looked too bright for her. Even though she didnt like the look of either, but she had to choose one.
Vanessa huffed at being told to shut up and scowled at the femme that stood near her. "Dont tell me to shut up. Your the one with the attitude." She walked over and was about to claim the lighter path so she would have an easy journey when she heard the femme claim that one. "Oh no you dont! I wanted that one!"
Bria smirked. "Then you should have just walked in there before i could have said anything. See ya!" And with that she took off into the lighter path, leaving Vanessa behind.
Vanessa scowled and started towards the dark path, since she definitely didnt want to travel with her. She wasnt happy about this since it meant she would more than likely get dirty. At least if she ran into anything down here she could take her frustration out on it.

Bria- The lighter path leads to the staircase leading almost straight down into the earth. It has a eerie feeling about it but you descend anyways noticing it gets brighter bit by bit as you go. You reach the end of the first path you took which leaves you with a choice of three directions to head in. The forward one is partially lit from the light coming from the left path. The right path is enclosed in darkness. The left path is well lit. Which will you take?
#- Go right.
#- Go left.
#- Go forward.
Vanessa- Going down the ways of the darker path you reach an intersection. One way is darker still but heads around a corner. While the other way happily is lit by a warm yellow glow from afar.
#- Go right.
#- Go left.

Bria had walked as far as she could go before she came to the three way fork on the road. She couldn’t decide which path was best, especially since they were all lit differently. So she just walked forward. It wasn’t super bright but it wasn’t a dark path either. She really just wanted a straight path anyways and hurry and and get out of there. The place gave her the willies.
When Vanessa came to the intersection she was happy to see a lighter path that was warm, rather than this dank cold path she was on. She was about to head to the lighter path when she took another glance down the darker path. Her curiosity getting the better of her, since she wanted to know what was down that darker path and around the corner (she hoped nothing would jump out at her). So she turned and headed for the darker path, cursing herself for wanting to know what was down there.

Bria- As you walk down the straightest path, you soon come upon a small alcove. Tucked into a corner is a chest with no lock. There's enough light to see there is nothing else in the room, and no way to go except go back. What do you do?
#- Pffft, chests! Someone will have robbed it by now. Ignore the chest and turn back.
#- Hey! It's a chest! Gotta be some goodies there! Check the chest out. [Randomize 1 - 12]
Vanessa- In a short span of time, you are confronted by another choice. A short dip to the right where there's the tiniest glimmer of light, or do you go forwards and around a corner, into more darkness?
#- Take the immediate right! Light has to be good!
#- The darker path is the safest path! Choose to go around the corner farther ahead.

Bria automatically noticed the chest, seeing as it was the only thing besides herself in the area. It got her curious as to what might be inside of it and she went over and opened it.
Vanessa ignored the path to the right and kept going around the corner to find what be this way. She didnt even stop or hesitate, just kept going, keeping her eyes peeled for anything of interest.

Bria- When you look withing the chest it is, indeed, empty. All within is some vacant dust and a velvety inside. You've nowhere else to go and return to the intersection. Now you can only go right or left, because forward is the way you came from. Right is most definitely a dead end, and leftward is an intersection.
#- Go right.
#- Go left.
Vanessa- Unknowingly, you pass a hall to the right and continue on instead to the intersection beyond. Here its plain, but to the right it seems to be a dead end while the left continues down a while.
#- Go left.
#- Investigate right.

Bria looked flustered and frustrated when she opened the chest. She returned to the intersection that she had been in originally. She looked to her left and then to her right. The right she could see lead nowhere while the left she couldnt tell. She would hate to choose right and then be done with this, well, not as mad but still. But she didnt want to encounter another intersection and have to go through this all again. So she turned right and went to see if there was anything at the dead end.
Vanessa looks around at the intersection she has come to. She makes a phst sound and goes to the right, sneaking into the dark to make sure nothing comes out at her or to at least be ready just incase something does.

Bria- You come closer to the dead end, taking note it was a brick wall..and further down, about your height, a brick was sticking out, seemingly loose. Will you try and shift it, or turn and walk away?
#- Try moving the brick. [ Randomize 1 - 12 ]
#- Turn around and head the other direction.
Vanessa- You choose a path with a dead end, but a suspicious croaking sound comes from ahead. You journey forwards and find a frog sitting on a wicker basket. He croaks and makes obscene gestures, even going so far as to flip you the frog-bird. Is there something precious in the wicker basket? Do you try to convince him to move?
#- Attempt to coax him off the basket.
#- Attempt to toss him off the basket.
#- Sniff, turn around, and leave...even though the frog is croaking in laughter at your weakness.

Bria walked down to the dead end, seeing nothing was there and getting frustrated with herself with thinking something was actually here. Though when she went to turn to leave she saw how the little bit of light played on a brick that was loose. She figured maybe it was just the structure of this old looking maze, but she just couldnt help think 'maybe there is something on the other side?' Sighing she went over and messed with the brick, hoping to all hell her curiosity wasnt leading her to another dead end.
Vanessa looked at the frog before her and snarled. She didnt like that this frog was making fun of her. He was a frog! And she was a vixen of a fox! She wouldnt tolerate him making fun of her. Not caring so much about the basket at this point she tried to grab the frog and throw him around, maybe that would teach him to make fun of her.
