I blinked at the two paths ahead of me, then turned to the grey demonic, who looked completely pissed from being dragged down here at five in the morning with no forwarning. "Come on, Cant, this will me fun."
She glared over at me, "If I knew you wouldn't give me cookies after I save your sorry butt, I wouldn't be here....."
"That's the spirit! And you aren't going to save my butt, you're going the other way," I said as I pointed down into the basement. I hoped she didn't die down there, she was my baby girl.
"Whatever," She said as she decended the stairs. I then turned towards the darkness and headed in, hoping for the best.

MewMew- From descending into the darkness you come to s split in the road. The right path seems better lit and warmer while the left path slides deeper into the neutral darkness.
#- Go left.
#- Go right.
Cantarella- After coming down the well-built staircase you come to an intersection. This one has three choices in where to go. The path forward and the path heading right are much the same while the path to the right has a different temperature and seems to be lit from a way aways.
#- Go right.
#- Go left.
#- Go forward.

Again, another choice to make....I looked to the left and to the right, "Eeny, meany, miny mo" I said as my finger landed onto the left path. I shrugged and went left into more darkness, "Whatever works" I murmered a grin covering my face.
Cantarella surveyed the three choices ahead of her, trying to get a feel of the paths by standing at each of their entries. After blinking, she brought her attention to the right path....then to the two other paths. "The right path has the most chance of finding something but I'm going to go forwards...We'll see where that goes," she quickly headed forward, ignoring the others.

MewMew- You stop again with yet another choice. Who knew mazes didn't have maps detailing where you should go? Right is a short path while left goes around a corner.
#- Go left.
#- Go right.
Cantarella- You go forwards past the tapestries on the wall and come to an unlocked chest on the floor.
#- Investigate [Randomize 1-12]
#- Ignore it and leave.
#- Mope in a corner until you dissolve.

'Hmmmm, left or right.....Right since I went left last time!" I said brighty as I scampered down the hall.
Cantarella quickly walked past the tapestries that reminded her of her old home and came to the chest on the door. She leaned down and placed a paw in front of it, wanting to investigate. o 3o

MewMew- As you cheerfully scamper down the hall, your face greets a cement wall. Etched deep into the tall structure, though, is a crack. (Whether you were the one that made it or not is uncertain.) It appears to have light coming out of it.
#- Stare at the wall and hope something happens.
#- Try to stick your hand in it and sees what happens. [Randomize 1-12]
#- Turn back.
Cantarella- As you investigate and lift the chest open, a fast figure passes by you. With swift movements, it becomes out of sight, until you feel a snake like creature curling itself around your right rear leg. When you glance down, you see a dragon with large wings that resemble a bat.
#- Stroke it softly and call it your precious
#- You're possibly hungry. Who wants dragon steak?
#- Punch it

I rubbed my nose, it smarting from hitting it so hard. Why must I skip in dark lit areas? I blinked up at the crack and the light and decided to reach through, praying that nothing would eat my hand off.
Cantarella glared down at the dragon, she had seen these near her old home and they were annoying pests. "Let go." she said in a harsh tone, but when it didn't she sighed. She really didn't want to do this, she lightly punched it, trying to scare it away.

MewMew- You get.... a bowl shard with a clown face! How sparkling stupendously fantastic! Pocketing it, you leave and go around the bend. Walking for as bit takes you to a part where you can continue forward or go check out an offshoot to the right.
#- Go Forward.
#- Go right.
Cantarella- It squeals in shock and or pain and immediately tries to bite down on your paw. It growls and reveals it's fangs.
#- ITS SO CUTE WHEN IT'S ANGRY~~~ KAWAII DESU
#- Punch it again for good measure.
#- No. It shall be a fair fight! Battle mode!

I eyed up the two ways I could go, trying to figure which way to go.... It's time for the all proven method that I'd come to love, "Eeny meany miny mo~" As I said "you' my finger pointed forward, so onward I went.
Cantarella's eyes lit up at it started to get angry- "SO FREAKING CUTE!!!!" She squealed. She just wanted to pick it up and start swinging it around! Oh the memories of 'Poke the Dragon,' one of her few good memories~ >w<~ <3

You manage to pick the winged dragon up. With the appearance of your familiar, its eyes glow with temporary outburst of magic from the Guardians of the maze and you're all transported back to the basement. ...obviously, you've found something worthwhile, and were transported...safely...back.
