I dont know if I have the authority to make this thread, but this is a place where you can ask questions that you dont want to make a whole new thread for. Also for stories and experiences you want to share.

There is a thread like this on another one of my pagan guilds and it has 43 pages so it works great.
of course, in the other one we went off topic a lot sweatdrop lol

well a very basic format would be:

1. cleanse space
2. cleanse your self
3. ground and center
4. cast circle
5. call quarters
6. invoke deity(s)
7. ritual observance
8. dismiss quarters and deity
9. take down circle
10. ground and center

here is a decent beginner ritual structure.

I'm not sure about the first thing either but (This stuff might be wrong since I've only been doing this for a year) When you invoke the deities you're asking them to join the circle. This is one of the invocations for the Goddess I used "Oh Great Goddess of the moon. I invite you to my circle. Please aid and protect this sacred rite. Assist me in my worship and growth. Fill me with your essence. So mote it be!" Then I light the Goddess candle and do the same for the God.

When I call upon the quarters (Earth, Air, Fire and Water) I pretty much do the same thing. This is the one I used for air one time "Come spirits of the East; help me build this magick Circle. Yes, come sylphs of Air. Aid and protect this sacred rite. I call thee forth to assist me in my worship and growth. Come ye forces of Air, fill this candle (light the air candle) with thy elemental essence. Let it be a symbol of your presence and intelligence. So mote it be!" You invoke air from the east, Fire from the South, water from the West and North is Earth. I usually start with Air but some people start with Earth. Whatever feels right to you.
