What foods should i eat before a race that will make me run my best? exclaim 2-3 hours before your race starts you should eat a small snack. Maybe like an apple, a small gatorage and some pasta. Something also that has alot of water, but don't over-drink, just to avoid cramps during your race. Carbs is always good ( bread, pastas etc.) and fruits/veggies.

smile If its just a small exercize I would recomened NO dairy products, even close to 12 hours before you run. And maybe 1hr-30min before you run have an apple and some carrots, or something light and organic.
