I am pretty much a consiuer of horror films, and with Halloween rolling around, I figured there'd be no better time to ask; what are your guy's favorite horror films/series?

My favorites would be...

Halloween series (orginal)
Phantasm series
The Shining (orginal)
Night of the Living Dead (orginal)
The Evil Dead

I don't think this is really considered a horror movie but I really like the Rocky Horror Picture Show

Those are some good choices my friends.
I hate how now a days movie are more about grossing you out than scaring you

yeah the remakes ruin everything. sometimes sequels do too.
PostPosted: Wed Oct 07, 2009 8:24 pm

Ugh, remakes suck incredibly...Halloween...Friday the 13th...Prom Night...My Bloody Valentine...Night, Dawn, AND Day of the (Living) Dead...soon to be A Nightmare On Elm Street...all tarnished by shameful, way below par remakes...

However, there are a few really good, sometimes superior to the orginal, remakes...John Carpenter's "The Thing" was light years better than the orginal "The Thing From Another Planet."

You know, I don't think I especially like a horror film or saga in particular. Am I weird? neutral
