So with the announcement feature, I was wondering...
We can easilly afford to send out weekly announcements, but without a purpose, it would be a waste. So I was wondering if people would like to submit short articles/stories/songs/other pieces of propaganda that we can use in our announcements.
It would serve the guild well: we could have a short propaganda piece, probably detailing some current event, with a link to a thread to discuss it.
What do people think?

It can be as long as you like (because there will be a thread), but it will need a decent intro that is no more than 1500 characters. No, that isn't a lot, but that is the sucky limit they put. -.- 10 000 characters would be way better. [edit] Better make it no more than 1200, because there is the issue of crediting the author, and a link to the thread, and maybe some other stuffs. [edit again] Actually, ******** it. Make it about 3000 characters. We can always screencap, and then post the pic in the announcement.

Ok, so it seems like most agree it is useful and good, and that people want to contribute. The first few issues will probably be spent working out formatting and the kinks in the blasted system that will be used, so...
be aware?
We can probably manage a couple of small articles, possibly two, probably one, and a short editorial (Mine, all mine. No you can't have it. ******** off. *waves stick*).
Of course, these would have to be political pieces. What should the mechanism be?
I think we can have people submit articles (no more than 3000 characters) in the form of PM to myself (or email, if you are someone who knows my email). I will choose two, while conferring with the others in the CC (prolly through skype). Another three will be chosen (if there are that many), and all five will be posted in a thread. The editorial, and the chosen articles would be in the announcement, and the whole 5 would be provided in a thread for all to read and discuss and s**t.
I ask people to PM it because I would prefer if this stuff was mainly new material to most people, and if it was posted, then everyone would see it, and that would divert discussion and s**t.
What do people think?

How does the Venus project seek to get rid of capitalism? Everyone knows capitalism fails. People have known that since it came into existence. Tell me something I don't know.
