Funny thing about Gruber. First time I'd ever heard of him was at last year's CT show in STL and I had no idea who he was. He was on stage setting things up and I thought he might have just been a backstage crew guy. Suddenly, the guy sitting in front of me (Tarantulas from the DAP) shouted out to him and he came down to talk, just a matter of a couple seats away from mine, and I was able to hear the conversation. Then I saw that he was the guy doing the warm-up routine and I was just LOLing at his material. He was so funny. Then I learned that he was in Freaks and Geeks which, to my shock, I had picked out for my Christmas list without even knowing he was in it. I wanted it for Joel and Trace, but Gruber was a real surprise. Then I saw him on the CT Santa Claus Conquers the Martians DVD. Then Christmas and I could see him in Freaks and Geeks. Now I'm a fan and next CT show I think I'm going to make him sign my Freaks and Geeks set.
