As most of you know, the opening date of The Elegant Aire Mall of October 9th has already past. Another good thing is that, being October, the mall can have a Halloween Event as the opening Ceremony!
All events will be starting on October 15th. Please remember donations and participation in these events are the only way to keep these events running and the only way to be able to give prizes. All donations should not be donated to the guild itself, because then we cannot use it for contests and such, but should rather be donated to aire_mule through a trade. aire_mule is the Mall's mule account where all transactions will be done for every contests.
The events that The Elegant Aire Mall will be hosting for the Halloween Event are: a Raffle, a Halloween avatar contest and a real life costume contest! And for this month only, ALL members of the mall are eligible for ALL contests without membership. After this event, some contests will require membership. First up, the raffle.
Raffle
Normally, the Mall's raffle will be once a week, but for this month it will be lasting from October 15th till the 30th.
The prize for the winning raffle ticket will be this outfit estimated at a whopping 162k.
Tickets will be 100g each, with each shopkeeper who was invited to the Mall getting one free ticket of their choice. We will start off with 500 tickets, but we would like to sell 2000. So starting on October 15th, you can post in the raffle thread which numbers you want, then send a trade to the aire_mule with the amount of gold due. Remember, this contest funds for the prizes of all contests, aside from donations. So be sure to participate smile
Halloween Avatar Contest
The Elegant Aire Mall's Avatar contest is located in the Fashion Show thread. Any halloween avatar -avatar dressed up in anyway- is acceptable -you can include reference pictures, descriptions, etc.
A user can submit only one avatar. All avatars must be submitted by October 28th at 11:59PM CST (Central Standard Time). Voting will occur October 29-31, with results on November 1st. Note that there must be at least 5 submitted avatars by October 29th for the contest to continue.
There will be prizes awarded to the first, second and third place avatars. Prizes are:
1st place: 10k
2nd place: 5k
3rd place: 2.5k
RL Costume Contest
This will be the same as the Avatar contest, except that you get to post pictures of YOURSELF in costume! =D But there will be rules so that we know that you didnt just get a picture off of google or something. Any picture is acceptable as long as it follows Gaia's TOS AND you must be holding a sign/piece of paper that has your username on it. This way we know that it is actually you smile
