Can anyone hear sweep pick, cause i'm trying to learn it for this song, Escape the Fate- This war is ours. And i'm hopeless, any tips please? I have been playing for a few years and i am quite good xd but i just can't do sweep picking.

Set the switch to use your neck pick-up as it sustains much better than the bridge pick-up does and usually doesn't ring out. It's also not quite as sensitive and doesn't pick up on excess noise.

If you need to, go ahead and palm mute as you sweep. Palm Muting is usually a pretty standard technique to be coupled with Sweeping.

Just practice it. If you have trouble getting the technique down, go ahead and look up videos on youtube or something and see how other people do it. All a sweep is, is an arpeggio; if you can do an arpeggio then you can sweep. Try it slowly at first, letting go of each fret on each string as you pass them by, and gradually speed up.

The best way to improve is to go beyond your comfort level untill it becomes what you're comfortable with. Then you'll just have to push yourself beyond your new-found comfort level to surpass that, and on and on and so forth....
