Blood +, Higurashi, Eureka Seven, Elfen Lied, Code Geass, Air, Nana, and FLCL are all really great. Barefoot Gen is an amazing anime movie. :3

DN Angel, Loveless, Kamichama Karin, and one I recently discovered called Pandora Hearts are all ones i found to be interesting.
And I love Higurashi and AIR and Elfen Lied was pretty cool. So was Black Blood Brothers but the ending sucked.

Goth Cage is a really pretty manga. It's 3 short fairy tale- Gothic stories.
