So I caught a little cold, probably from my nieces last week. A cold that within about 3 days had become a sore throat, and now has become a small cough and taken away my voice.
Needless to say, I'm in no shape to work out.
So do you have any special light exercises that you do when you're sick?

Light, gentle stretching -- but when you're sick, the best thing to do is drink fluids and get plenty of rest. Exercise is a little too hard on the body when it's already fighting so hard to chase out something unpleasant.
Though, I've heard of people trying to sweat out the sickness with exercise... I dunno, that just sounds like a bad idea. Might just work it in deeper; your body will be trying to repair the damage of exercise instead of getting rid of the cold. A hot bath would be all the sweating you need -- and again, lotsa fluids.

The trouble with getting sick is that it breaks the routine. It's harder to get back into exercising for at least 30 minutes at a time after having taken a few days off. I still haven't worked out a good way to get back into it, except for waiting for the whim to hit.
