Spartan is a horse as black as night. He wears a gold spartan war helmet (fit for a horse of course) and has eyes of fire. Instead of riding the horse itself, he carries a chariot (the one the Ares cabin won in the 5th book) around to ride in. Only Ares children can ride this horse.
