I walked into Retro, my uniform soaking wet from the rain. I sighed and sat down at the counter, my eyes half closed and empty. "The usual, Yuki?" Sasha said, her voice was cheerful and her stunning green eyes sparkled. Sasha was almost like one of the gang, her hair was died white, making her green eyes stand out. Her skin was a nice colour, almost a pale beige. "Yeah. Make it quickly please." "Right away, hun. No milk, no sugar, nothing. Right?" I nodded and opened up one of my notebooks and began to study. I loved to read and I always got good grades. At least I did. Sasha put the coffee down in front of me and I took a sip. Rocky and Elven walked in then, laughing and almost screaming. The sat down beside me and looked at the book I was reading. "You actually study for those tests? God, I'm glad I dropped out. My head would've exploded by the time I finished the first sentence!" Rocky laughed at his own joke and fell off his chair. He had short black hair and pale blue eyes. After the first few weeks of school he dropped out. He never was that bright and always spent his time day dreaming and chasing after girls. I had no idea why he was my friend, he just was. "Why didn't you wait for us? You know how dangerous this place is. What if you got hit by a car or something?" Elven looked at me, tears coming to his eyes as he spoke. His real name was Alvin, but we called him Elven because he looked sort of like an elf. He had pale skin and long, REALLY LONG pale blond hair. It almost looked white like Sasha's. His eyes were a light blue with black rings around the iris. He had a scared look to them, he was terribly shy and scared of his own shadow. Literally. "Hi Elven." Sasha said slowly. Elven looked at her and his face turned a bright red. Elven had a terrible crush on Sasha, even though she was years older then him. The three of them talked as I studied. A while later I closed up my books, and walked out the door. "Have a good night, Yuki!" Sasha called after me. I waved and kept walking. If only I could have things like that again...
