I don't watch a lot of anime, I normaly tend to watch whatever is recommended by my friends, or watch it with them if I'm visiting. But so far I have seen:

Death Note
Fullmetal Alchemist
Devil May Cry
D. Gray-Man
Hellsing
Escaflowne

a short list, but I don't watch a lot of anime, I'm more into computer games, novels and certain manga.

So far I have read/watched Death Note and Hellsing and found them enjoyable, except Hellsing was a bit too graphic in some parts. I've also seen Trinity Blood which was quite good. The only anime I haven't really enjoyed was Moonphase, it was suggested to me so I watched a few episodes although I've taken a disliking to it.

I haven't seen a lot of the animes people have listed so perhaps I should branch out a bit more.

I haven't seen the Death Note anime but read the manga. I love Escaflowne. It was my very first anime and I still watch it. 3nodding I also really like Trinity Blood.
