A close friend of mine was stuck in a mall for two straight days. She was supposed to be celebrating PEACE day with some buddies and ended up stuck since the mall was flooding. The toilets were shitty(literally) and clogged. They barely had any food but a few biscuits and some water. The floors were cold and there were no showers. She would've stayed another night, if her father didn't rescue her in a boat. It was that bad. I'm just so glad she's okay.

What's interesting actually is that I'm here in the Philippines right now. After so long. I arrived yesterday. Pretty hectic around here. I spent the whole day packing and distributing relief goods to people affected by the storm. I had to ride a rubber boat, a military/army truck, and a dump truck. I was with some buddies and my Dad. It feels really good to help those who are truly in need.
