Bethanie has a problem, probably the least of the few. Her parents just found out that she's been in love with Taylor, and that she has been seeing him. Her parents hate that junkie, and recently did a search of Bethanie's room, busting her with acid stamps and heroin needles. She turned to her best friend Annah, but it seemed as though the girl wanted nothing to do with Bethanie any longer. She has to tell Taylor soon that she'll be moving, or else he'll think she just left him!

Annah has a sort of..problem. She cuts, and only because of Jarred. She told him she loved him three months ago, and he has been avoiding her ever since. She never got a response, and it wasn't like she was annoyingly impatient. She thinks he just doesn't want her anymore, and in response, she doesn't want herself anymore. She lives alone.

Ai hasn't told anyone, not even her bestie Taylor, what her problem is. She loves Deo, truly, she does. But she isn't ready. He proposed to her, and she is pregnant. She has been avoiding him for two months, even using online homeschooling in the apartment her and Deo used to live in together. He took the hint, and is actually staying with his parents to give her space. She currently lives alone.

Taylor has a sort of addiction to drugs, and that has gotten him in trouble over the past few years. He has been seeing Bethanie, without her parent's permission, for the past three years. He absolutely loves her. Even more than he loves the sensation of drugs. His parents recently kicked him out, and he lives in an apartment, slowly falling out of drugs, hoping to prove to Bethanie that he loves her more than the drugs. He just hopes that she will speak with him soon.

Jarred. Wow, that is all there is to say. He has been cheating on Annah ever since they have been going out, and the t**t never got the hint from other girls! He hadn't been meaning to, in all truth. But he had never felt love in his life, and suddenly love hit him, and he wanted to see what it was like when he could love other people. Annah was the only one he could say he loves, but he stays away from her, popping too many pills to count. He hopes to overdose, and that Annah won't follow. He believes that he deserves death for what he has put Annah through.

Deo and Ai did the big 'it'. And he even asked her to marry him. He is head-over-heels for this girl, and she hasn't spoken a word since he asked her to marry him. He moved out of their apartment, and has been staying with his parents since then. He just doesn't know why Ai would treat him so cruelly, and change her spunky, fun-loving attitude so suddenly. He is worried for her, since she has been sick for the past two months. She has gotten a bit bigger too, is she letting herself go?

Around the time Ai turned seven, her mother took her and everything they owned, and left her father. She still doesn't know why, and at the age of eight her mother had apparently replaced her dad. Ai didn't like the idea, and hated it when he began to emotionally abuse Ai. She was worthless, and would never amount to anything in his eyes. Her mother never knew about the abuse, and Ai began to think that her mother just didn't care. And that's around the time, when Ai turned nine, that her sister Sei shared her birthday. Ai loved her sister, but the male parent would always tell Sei that Ai was a bad child. Sei was four and Ai was thirteen when Ai began to fight back with her mouth, snapping at the parent when he told her she was worthless and began to beat of her life. When the parent found that emotional abuse would not drive the girl to suicide, he began beating her, hoping to kill her gradually. Ai became fragile once more, and Sei would even try to protect her loving sister from time to time. Jack, the male parent, would get drunk at the house more often than he was sober. And when he was drunk, he was more abusive. So, both Ai and Sei suffered. Ai would protect Sei from anything Jack would throw at her, most of the time. But when Sei and Ai were nearing their fifth and fourteenth birthday, he went over the edge, trying to stab Ai with a big, new butcher knife, flinging it at her. Sei saved Ai, and Jack didn't seem to care that his only biological child lay dead on the floor. Ai stood still, knowing her sister was dead at her feet, and that if she moved he would kill her too. When her mother came home that evening, Ai had been unconscious and bleeding on the floor, but Jack was nowhere to be seen. Ai ran away after she was healthy, at age fourteen she had all that she needed, and her mother accepted her leaving the state, and living on her own. Ever since, Ai has had no connection to her family, and considers Deo and Taylor the only people that truly care about her.

Recently, Ai has been rather mean to anyone who tries to find out what is wrong. She can go from being the happiest person in the world to sobbing over spilled milk, nowadays. She hates that she cannot decide what she wants, or what is right. She is nice if she isn't in a bad mood, and tries her best to appear happy, even when she isn't. She loves people, she loves helping people, she likes to dote on little kids, likes to hug and kiss and find the child's parents. She adores seeing children smile because of something silly that she might do.

Don't you ever wish that a life could be perfect, so has Annah, it has never happened with her. She lost her parents first, they gave her away when she was very young. She had no one left already, no siblings to share, her friends slowly moved away. She earned more friends in the future, sure. Nothing was ever the same. She got a boyfriend, he broke her heart. She learned later that her parents had died, and that there was no one left to run to. It seems there is nothing left in her life. They tried to get her to go to a foster family, she just growled and sat alone, cutting herself every other time she felt too bad. Her grades slipped, she didn't care anymore, there was nothing to prove for her anymore. She is and was anemic, only now, she seems to become fatigued more often.

More recently, Annah has been enclosed, it seems like she's hiding something. She will always sit quietly, no matter what's going on. She always seems tired, and unhappy. She tries not to draw attention to herself, now she only seems to talk when the teacher calls her out to answer a question. Now this would be unusual if this were before, she used to be happy and talkative whenever she was around her friends.
