Background: D is similar to Ichigo in quite a few ways. He is still a human, since he still has not died, and he was able to see spirits before obtaining his power. He had gained his ability of becoming a Soul Reaper, when another Soul Reaper, who was turning Hollow through the process of Hollowfication, gave D all of his powers to him. D had tried to save the Soul Reaper, but it was far too late, becoming a complete Hollow. When D had sent the completely Hollowfied Soul Reaper away to the Soul Society, the powers he had obtained became his very own, changing from what they were from the previous Soul Reaper. Also, the powers, and Zanpaku-to that the Soul Reaper had were removed from D, but the powers given to him from the Soul Reaper's Zanpaku-to allowed him to create his own Zanpaku-to and abilities, accustomed to him. Recently, in the Soul Society, he had complications with his Zanpaku-to, since he was able to go into Bankai with it, however, had never learnt of its name, or seen the Spirit. It was then revealed that the Zanpaku-to was actually the previous Soul Reaper’s Spiritual Energy that had latched onto him, to return to its rightful owner. As D began to doubt his own abilities, he found out that the Spiritual Energy was feeding of his Vast Spiritual Energy, allowing him to bring back his Zanpaku-to. When the Spiritual Energy made an opening to Hueco Mundo, freeing its rightful owner, now a full fledged Hollow, with a thriving Soul Reaper’s soul merges with his previous Spiritual Energy, emerged an Arrancar. The Arrancar recalled his previously locked away Zanpaku-to, Aviator to his aid, as D was able to take control of it, since their Spiritual Energy had been linked for a long period of time. Although the Arrancar had lost his Zanpaku-to, he had created a new one from his Arrancar powers, two wing-like swords. While other Soul Reapers attempted to help destroy the Arrancar, D performed a powerful kido twice on it, as he finally used his Zanpaku-to to seal the Arrancar within his own body, separating the Soul Reaper and the Hollow. Now that D has three beings within him, he was able to combine the Arrancar and Soul Reaper Zanpaku-toes into a newly improved Aviator, as he still has to learn of his own Zanpaku-to’s name. He now possesses a limitless amount of Spiritual Energy with the extra Spiritual Energy reserves from the Soul Reaper and Hollow within him.
