The Farmlands

A long man-made winding road a ways away from the marketplace leads you to large expansive fields and pastures ideal for ranch life. Acres and acres of land, with one lucky plot with direct access to the lake. Though the acres of land were split in half, making the rest of the land unreachable. As you reach the halfway point of the farmlands, a man made fence of wood and stone seemed to be blocking the path. Oddly enough it looked as though it could be easily hopped over. The other side of the fence was nearly wall papered with blessing charms and protection amulets, which explained why no monster would even venture close to the bridge. If you brave enough, hopping over the fence lead you to a straight path towards the [ Nishimura Forests and Mountain Range. ]

The closest plot of land is the smallest plot, but with the richest soil. A small unpainted house made of wood and stone dots the small farm, not even twenty feet away is a 100X100 bit of land meant to grow delicious fruits and vegetables of the highest quality. The small home itself was a 1 room house, with an attached wash closet and a small kitchen. The bedroom was separated from the main room of the house and the large main room was a kitchen/living/dining area. Adjacent to the house is a small orchid with a few dormant trees due to the time of year. Just behind the unpainted house was a 5x10 greenhouse that could be entered from the back. Inside was small and only really had enough room for a few potted plants or a row or two of crops. The condition of the house itself looked ready to be moved in, though the field seemed to be overrun with weeds, fallen trees, and a fairly large boulder was in the dead center of it. Perhaps with some help and a strong enough hammer or axe the field could be cleared in time.

Just down the road, past a few fallen trees was another larger plot of land. Though the soil was not as rich or high quality as the much smaller plot of land, it was however larger in comparison. 150x150. About half minute's walk away from the house was a small barn and coop, though the conditions were a bit worse for wear. On the field and the grassy area designated for animals doesn't look as though it had grown anything in quite some time. It was covered in weeds, old logs, and a few small boulders. The house itself was similar in nature to the previous plot of land, the exterior was unpainted with the house being made of wood and stone. The exception was that there was no small green house behind it and a very large old tree had fallen on the house crushing it in half. If it wasn't for the tree, the house would've been two stories tall and looked as though it could house a family inside. The interior had 3 bedrooms with a large main living/dining/kitchen area and separate bath/wash closet on the lower floor... At least that's what could be seen from the wreckage.

Further along the road was the lucky plot that had the lakeside access, it was in comparison the largest plot of land in the farmlands that was accessible. The house was a medium sized house that was two stories tall, made of unpainted wood and stone. The first floor was mostly a very large room that was a combination large kitchen, living room, and dining room. Entering the house, the first thing you are greeted with is the stairs and along the farthest was were two doors. One door lead to the wash closet and the other lead to a small bath. Up the stars were two bedrooms. The house looked as though it used to hold a large family, but due to neglect it seemed to have lost it's luster over the years. Ten feet away from the house was a large barn and coop, attached the barn and coop was what took up the majority of the land. A large expansive field that was miraculously growing grass even in the dead of winter.
