Okay, then. The Casting for DToB will be held in the Head Writer's office. Present will be: Toby Pearson, Mister Mage, Temporal L. "Tempy" Chaos and the President.
The list of roles to audition for will be non-existent, because we hare at G-TV (Or at least Toby~) have/has a pretty innovative view on how to make TV. We know not all actors are writers, but this process will work as follows:
The Auditonee will read and act out some lines of his or her own writing. Also he shall give us a small summary of the character he intends to play and the on-line alter ego of said character. Also he will be judged on what he will bring to the TV show itself.
This is basically an improv audition, so the judges are encouraged to give the auditionee prompts and situations in which he will have to act out. Auditions will last for 15-20 minutes, with a 5-minute break between the auditions to discuss the candidate and his/her performance.
If they shall be so needed, the auditions will continue on until tomorrow.
Now, then, good luck, and do try to look your cutest~ <3 BEST.
-Signed, Toby A. Pearson.
ACCEPTED ACTORS: -Alphine Watson
((Sorry if this is too unclear, but I suppose it'll become clearer the moment we start.))

Tempy sat in a stray chair that had been pulled into Toby's office. He had a book in one hand and a nuked breakfast burrito in the other. Violin music could be faintly heard if you stood close enough to him since he had his MP3 player on, but only one earbud tucked into his human ear. Why, exactly, evolution had decided to give Tempy two separate sets of ears (one of them being blue and catlike that sat on the top of his head and made his silver hair impossibly to cut properly) he didn't know. It didn't really help him hear any better, in fact, between the four of them his hearing was just about normal.
His white tipped blue tail flicked a bit as he read and waited for someone to come in and place an audition. Not that he even knew what the audition was for. He hadn't actually been listening to the pitch at the time, and it was really just his warm body that was required for the second part of the process anyway.
Sitting with an eerie calmness on Toby's desk was the president, dressed like the Monopoly man as he often was, peering at the door with beady red eyes. His nose twitched at random points as his eyes never tore away from the door.

Well, the wait was on. It was 8:15, and the next auditionee could be coming in at any minute now. Toby would go last, but still audition since, hey, you can't have a proper show without at least a few actors, and they seemed to be somewhat short on those at the moment.
He twiddled hs thumbs, made a few sketches in the book he always had with him (It was his combination notebook/sketchbook/idea book and vitally important. To him.) and then decided to have a walk around the room for good measure. Then a look out the window. Geez, am I ever high up.. He thought, absent-mindedly.
Well, nothing for it. "Hey, you, temporary employee standing by the door, fetch me the actors. Tell them all to report to here, if there are any already. I'm getting impatient." Toby finished, sinking back onto his chair. "Don't do that. You'll wreck the chair like an angel's red-stained wings after a fall. And we need more costs as much as a grizzled P.I. needs the criminal underworld on his tail." M.M. said, smirking. His uncle had always had a talent for noir metaphors. Toby supposed it came with the dress sense.

Tempy chewed on his burrito. It was hot, but since it'd burned his tongue already he saw no reason to not have a few more bites as it cooled. The violin set shifted into the Phantom of the Opera soundtrack. Tempy, absorbed in his reading and thus not paying attention to the fact that he wasn't alone, softly started to sing with it.
"Masquerade. Floating midgets on parade. Masquerade." Those weren't really the words, but he never concerned himself much over that. Tempy actually had a very nice voice. It could be described as 'the voice of an angel' or in other words 'a voice you expected to come out of a girl'.
It would do to note that in that moment, Toby in his barrettes and pink scarf, was not the most inadvertently gay man in the room.

Well, well, it seemed Mr. Chaos (Was that actually his last name? Seemed a bit odd. Still, Toby supposed it sounded very cool as well.) was equipped with a rather beautiful, if slightly girly, singing voice, although he didn't have an ear for lyrics. Toby had never been much into musicals, though he supposed it would have to be an off-off-off Broadway piece if it had floating midgets, especially on parade.
And then his own mobile phone began spewing out something that might have been called music, if it hadn't been ground down to something that would have sounded better on an 8-bit console. The phone had, of course, been decorated by a tiny little plastic penguin dangling from a string.
"Oh, sorry, gotta take this. You don't mind if I step out for a moment, would you?" He asked, knowing the answer. He exited and had a pleasant little conversation with his mother. "No, mother, I have a job now- At the TV station, yes, head writer- Yes, I know you're proud of me, mum, but really- No, of course I'm not- Scarf? Yes, it was the only col- What do you mean you clearly saw more colours in the catalogue? Well, the didn't have the in s- Listen, just stop it with the scarf, okay? ...S- sorry mum. I know you're very unstable, high blood pressure, and- Yes, mum, I know, mum, I'll find a nice girlfriend soon, mum, I promise. I'll bring her over for dinner some time, sure. Yes, bye, mum. Bye."
He entered the room again. "Sorry, my mum's getting a bit pushy. Hopefully you all didn't hear that." Toby said, sighing. The President responded by chewing on the chair even harder and hissing. M.M. shrugged, and said "Seems like you couldn't get a word in edgewise. And the walls here are wafer-thin. I'd suggest you get a pager, or at ,least a working voice mail." And continued playing with his lighter, which only seemed to make the President more agitated. "And my sister's just scaring you. Her blood pressure's never been high, she just likes guilt-tripping people." M.M. said, with a sort of rakish grin.
Well, that had been enlightening to Toby. For some reason, all his mum's talk about having to go to the hospital and coming back sloshed was being put into a much clearer perspective now.

Tempy stopped singing, though it wasn't clear if he even realized he'd begun. He looked up from his book as a thought flicked into his brain.
"I wonder how my father's doing." He said aloud and got out his phone. It was just a sleek silver folding job. He stared at it for a moment, mentally slapped himself, and put the phone back. He blinked and looked at the others in the room. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize anyone had come in." He put his book away and turned off the music. "It's nice to see you back, M." He nodded.

Alphine Watson, who was an abnormaly tall woman, knocked gently on the door.
Her hair was a mess as she had had some difficulty getting here, although she thought the style suited her classical face. You see, Alphine wasn't exactly the most graceful person (She blamed her mother for that. Ther father had been as graceful as a swan...) and in saying that, she often tended to drop things and fall over other people that were nowhere near her in the first place.
Now, her long journey had started in England, where she had been a useless lump. The only one her family that was smart enough to get alot of money but not really willing to do those kind of jobs. She had always wanted to be an actress, though her mother had told her she could about as well as a gerkin, and had often practised different scenes and poses infront of her mirror. Now, moved away from her...loving...family filled with very unintelligent people, she was looking to get started on this new job.
She didn't want to toot her own horn, so to speek because she really didn't want to toot anybody else's horn either for sanitary reasons, but she was quite a good actress and was proud of her skills.
She wiped her sweaty palms down her white and blue pin-striped working skirt as she waited for someone to tell her she could come in.

Knocking. On the door. There was someone. Finally. Someone had arrived. Yay. The president hissed (He had never liked loud noises), but Toby shushed him and vocalized a loud "Come in!" towards the auditionee. She seemed to be a very tall woman. He always had a habit of writing his female characters small. This could be a problem, though not as much as one might think. It was, after all, going to be about 75% animation.
"Ah, Miss... Watson, was it?" He asked, having missed reading the sign-ups and order in which they would appear. Ah well, no skin off his back. He was only the writer, after all. "Feel free to begin. Okay, first one.. Umm.. Ah, I know. Why don't you tell us a bit about the characters you're going to audition for? That'd be a good start, wouldn't it?" At this, he nervously looked to M.M. (Who was sleeping) and Tempy (Who was as attentive as him and, wait, where did he get that nickname from?) and finally the President (Who was chewing his chair a lot more timidly now the huge woman was in the room). Oh yes, this was going to go nicely, Toby mused.

"Yes." Tempy put on his polite smile (which seemed to have an odd effect on women these days) and looked her in the eyes. "Please, feel free to go crazy with it. We might even like your idea better than our own." He took his pen and leaned over to poke M.M. in the leg, marking his pants. If he was going to have to do this then so was the noir detective.

Alphine jumped as someone called for to go in. With a sight she stepped through the door and shut it behind her, noticing that most the people here were rather...small... She wasn't surprised to see that the president was a rather odd green rabbit-like thing. It would be a long time before anything surprised her again, having twelve brothers does that to people somtimes.
"Erm...yes, right...well..." she started to fidget nervously. She had never done good in a presure situation. But she just had to tell herself to get into her busniess mode.
"Right. my characters are usually the very quietly good ones or the very mysterious one that no one really knows about. it really depends in what mood i'm in. Most of my characters have an od sense of humor and tend to talk to themselves. I'm not exactly sure what kind of character you people are looking for but i'm sure i could manage whatever you throw at me!" she said, and took a seat, crossing her legs. "I like to be very diverse but i also don't like change, meaning, if you change something without telling me i'll be terribly upset. Now you must understand that when i'm upset i tend to...break things, as i was taught by my siblings. As you can obviously see, i'm not a small woman and i never have been so when i break things i tend to break alot of those specific things. And also, i'm rather a bit of a clutz, but don't let this put you off because i'm very useful in other areas!"
She sighed and then smiled. "That was awful wasn't it? Oh dear, i'm never usually that rude."
"Would it be alright to pat the president, or would that make him upset? He looks a bit shy at the moment though...i do hope i'm not bothering him!"
She turned back to Mr. Pearson, "Is that what you wanted to know from me or i have i got things wrong...again?"

"You're doing fine, miss." Tempy assured her even though the question wasn't directed at him. "And I wouldn't touch the president unless you want to get your fingers bitten off. He's a bit wild." He cast his eyes over to the nearly identical men sitting next to him before settling on the girl. "If you wouldn't mind, please, step out for a moment. We will call you back in and let you know about our decision."

Alphine nodded once, gave a wary glance at the president and stepped out. Be fore she left the room she added, "Please take into consideration...i have twelve older brothers, all of them are bigger than me and if i don't get some success then they are going to make terrible fun of me...not mention they do love to bully...except for Barry...he liked to burn things, but he's been...put away...now" she said closed the door behind her.
While she waited for them to call her back in she realised that there was surprisingly little to do around here. Usually one would stare at a clock, but there wasn't one in sight, or one would read a magazine but Alphine's brain was far too advanced for such things and thought it would lower her IQ if even glanced at one.

"Poor girl. I say we give her the position, merely due to the fact that we need an actor and she is one. Simple enough. Anyone disagree?" M.M. snoring was interrupted by an awakening and a sputtered "Yeah, sure, whatever." Tempy agreed as well, and the president hissed and bit the chair a bit more.
"Well, guess we've decided. You can come back in, Mrs. Watson! Get to writing your characters. You're in." Toby said, shaking the gigantic woman's hand, grinning all the while. Well, they had an actor now. Very good. In fact, it was rather awesome~! <3 Erm. Awesome, that was. Toby never ever tacked little hearts behind his sentences. Never ever ever.

Alphine sprung up from her chair, which was quite an intimidating sight considering she was so tall and jumping made her bigger, and walked into the room again.
"really? I've been accepted? I though i was going to have to throw some threats around here and there...guess George was wrong, bullying isn't the way to go about things. I wouldn't really, bully people that is, i am of the opinion that i'm fat too nice. That's is not to say that i'm not a bit mean because really, i left my very tiny mother (If you can beleive that) with house full of very big boys even when she begged me (No really, on her knees type begging) to stay, so i must be a little mean. But i'm very nice usually, i hardly ever lie, only here and there if my friends ask how they look in specific pair of pants. I don't like fashion very much, i'll stick with classic busniess outfits. But it's not that fashion isn't nice it's just that the clothes they make for people my height are for models and i'm not planning to wear any of clothes in private, much less pubic!"
Alphine reddened, "terribly sorry, i tend to get a little carried away, i loften ramble. Now these characters of mine, can they be any sort or am i just to make up any type i can think of?"

Honestly Toby hadn't though much about the characters of his masterpiece yet. Though he supposed.. "Well, you can basically be anyone you want. And the actual game portion will be animated, so you can basically think up any sort of character for that as well." Toby said, grinning. Sure, the woman may be a rambling giantess, but at least she was an actor.
So, he supposed he was going to have to drag Tempy and his uncle into this hare-brained scheme as well, but it didn't bother him much. he'd been living on a high ever since he got his plans accepted, and wasn't going to stop because of a lack of actors now.
