The sun was streaming through the windows of the office, directly onto Faylinns face. Her eyes were shut, enjoying the warmth from the rays.
She knew it was going to be a busy day, it always was. She loved her job, but it often got tiresome. She felt her old age was getting to her. With this thought, the sides of her mouth twitched into a little smile, At least I look good for my age.
Her head then darted around the room, her ears pricking up. Someone was on his way. Quickly she checked her hair and waited.

Macleod walked into the room, given as he and Faylinn had been running the school for years he felt he could dispense with the formalities "Good afternoon Headmistress, it seems you have need of my assistance..." he grinned in that smae unsettling grin, not even bothering to hide the blood on his shirt.

Faylinn shook her head a little and stood up from her chair. "Macleod" she sighed "...what are we going to do with you". She rubbed her shirt in the same area Macleod had his 'stain'.
"I do wish you'd wear different clothes for hunting...I do". She grinned, knowing that Macleod was not really a fashion person, like she was.
After taking all his words in she sat back down and put her feet up on her desk "Assistance? whatever gave you that idea?"

Macleod smiled "Just a little training 'accident', besides a lot of this years students are ignoring the warning about the Red Door, I already had Eva seal it for now but we will need something a little more solid to stop students trying to get in."

I knew this day was going to be busy. She put her feet back down safely on the ground and shuffled some papers around on her desk..."Surly, you can do something about it? You're much better at stopping people than I. I'm sure Eva did a great job....she has brilliant potential."
She paused and looked at the clock then back to Macleod. "You know, we could just use a lock? half the students here will think that it's so simple...and would never think of using a key".

"A lock could work but we would need Orihalcum, it's the metal that can be used on the door..." Macleod sighed "and i for one don't have a clue as to finding enough for what we need." he explained.

Faylinn raised her eyebrows, completely clueless. Clearing her throat she stood up again, "well, I'm sure if you asked around....the village down the road perhaps?" a smile came to her mouth "unless..you've eaten them all again?"

Macleod laughed loudly at the idea of him eating human flesh "Headmistress I have no need of suchsustainment. besides, Orihalcum is so rare that it's priceless, I can check the stock we have but it might not be enough for a lock." he grinned, he was a human, even if he could regenerate.

She grinned "I know, that's why I love to tease you." she laughed a little. "I suppose checking the stock would be good. Other than that...I really do not have any idea. There are no men I can flatter to get some is there?"

"I suppose i could ask my old friend Professor Donalds but Professor Roberts was the one with all the suppliers, rest her..." Macleod sighed, crossing himself without realising.

Faylinn nodded solemnly. "We'll have to...use our brains I suppose. We'll think about it. Any students who do enter it...send them to me. I'll deal with them. Now, was there anything else in that little brain of yours?"

"Nothing much else Headmistress but Eva wishes to upgrade her weapons if you'd permit it..." he smiled, his affection for Eva was apparent.

She shook her head, "yes yes, fine. Just make sure she....is careful with them. I do not wish to have a high number of casualties this year..".
