Middleport Island is the second largest island in the Island Nations Federation, only second to Obel itself. The town of Middleport covers roughly one-sixth of the island's surface with the remainder being rolling hills dotted with patches of forestry dotting the landscape.
A busy port town, Middleport's streets are narrow and its paths are paved in cobblestones. The town's economy is supported almost entirely by trade in one fashion or another and so many different ships can be seen in the harbour.
The town is also home to the Quest Guild which was founded to relay offers of available jobs and request throughout the southern regions. As you progress north through Middleport, the town eventually gives way to the mansion of the island's ruler, who in 309 was Schtolteheim Reinbach III.
The town also contains a famous inn, the Lovely Ringlet Cottage. The back streets of Middleport mainly serve only as dwellings for the regular citizens of the island. However, one of the houses does lead to Warlock's underground Rune Cannon research laboratory via an underground path.
