After running for a few miles, Rei phased back to normal as the Jutsu wore off and she and Shige stopped for a brief rest before continuing on. They didn't know where they were going, but they were going to stay alert and keep moving til they got there.

Drake jumped from treetop to treetop as he continued searching for the pair. Another shinobi getting the best of him, even for a second, intrigued him and could be a useful ally, plus she was a cute one. Drake continued running, not using his full speed, but enough as he found her from the treetops. The wolf would probably smell him coming, but it didn't matter. As they continued moving, Drake moved ahead of them and landed right in front of them, blocking their path. "Now that wasn't very nice for you to do...considering I did nothing to warrant such a response. Now why don't we start this again...the name's Drake Shimizu, and you are?" he asked with a sincere and compassionate smile.

ok, no joke, his smile kinda freaked Rei out. =p But she knew he was dangerous and could prolly rip her apart without trying. She didn't know if he wanted to make allies or not but- it was better than any alternative options. Might as well try. Se actually let loose her on of her signature smiles and said, "You can call me Rei, and this is Shige. Nice to meet you Drake. Sorry for the kunai thing." And that's all she said about that... No matter what happened now, at least she had tried making friends.

"It's fine..." Drake sighed as he held his hands out. "As you can see, I'm perfectly fine, I tripped over a rock as I stumbled backwards and luckily I wasn't impaled by anything. That was pretty good there Rei. So I'm guessing you come from the Inuzuka Clan since you have a partner," he said as he got down on one knee and took out a piece of jerky that he had saved up from his pack and held it out to Shige. "Shige...it's nice to meet you, don't worry, if I try anything funny, you have full permission to rip me apart," he smiled a he offered the meat to him.

Since he took the kunai thing so cooly, Rei decided he was worth knowing. "Hey, i honestly don't mean to be offensive, but i have this thing about chakra... i don't really shake hands, but i promise i really am pleased to meet you. And yes, i am of the Inuzuka. And i'm sure Shige would defend me to his greatest ability should you try anything. He takes your words as a compliment." ( =D ) Shige loked at the meet and saw i was trying to be courteous but cautious so he wolf grinned at the new man, Drake, but did not take the meat. Rei explained by saying, "I'm sorry, Shige hunts for us. He prefers his raw normally. He doesn't mean to be insulting either." Rei bowed a little in apology, but just a little.
(ok, i know she's acting polar opposite, but once she gets past her freakish caution, she's normally nice. Especially if Shige isn't about to kill the guy, then she's friendly enough.)

"It's okay I understand, and there's no need to bow, I'm just a mere medicine peddler, no one of great importance," Drake told her as he took a bit out of the jerk for himself, rising back up to his feet. "But you seem like a really strong shinobi...may I ask you...where exactly are you heading. Cause from the looks of it you seemed to be leaving the Cloud Village.

Mere, if Shige hadn't warned her she might've believed him, but if he was acting that way- well, he was doing it for a reason. She would be cautious but she would play along with it. "It is but a sign of respect for a healer, and sadly, i am not that strong, just cunning. I am only a Genin... I need to train, but you are correct in your assumption. I'm leaving cloud village. My mother taught me those jutsus. The academy only taught me the three beginning jutsus. And as for where i'm heading-" Rei would lie, but only slightly, "I am a bit of a wandering spirit. I like to travel and i'm good with animals so i always have company. Especially Shige" Rei smiles at the thought of her partner. "And you? You appear to be traveling as well, where are you headed?"

"Rank isn't everything...even a genin can be a force to be reckoned with," Drake pointed out. "Oh...well, I'm currently traveling to become a great medical shinobi with my little brother. I left him back at the Docks in the Hidden Mist Village. Since the two of you are traveling on your own, why don't you come with me and my bro? We'll be traveling all across the world, we'll even visit the Leaf Village where your clan originated from," Drake explained to her. "So how about it? You wanna come with? And during your travels I can train you to be a shinobi, I used to be one before I turned away from it."

"I suppose you are right, a determined adversary is normally worthy i suppose. As for your offer to travel- i believe i will accompany you. Well, if your little brother and i get along?" Rei paused and looked at the 'Shinobi' and wondered if he would help in her training... or if he could at all?

"Okay then...first we have to go back and pick up my brother. I left him back in the Village Hidden in the Mist!" Drake said as he turned to face that direction. "It's not too far from here, when we get to the ocean all we have to do is get a boat and we'll be there in no time," Drake smiled as he waved his hand motioning for her to follow closely behind him. And just like that, Drake had a new friend for a new adventure.

"Alright, i guess i will follow you then, i rarely leave the actual village. But- i would like to see the Ocean. You ready to leave Shige?" Shige stood from his sitting position and pointed toward the sea. Rei knew it was time to start a new chapter in her life. His hand motion irked her some, but since he knew the way, she would let him act as leader for their quest, but she would keep a little bit of space for now. He did seem friendly enough, maybe she would like his little brother. smile

After hour of traveling, he could see a light at the end of the rocky cavern Kazzu had been traveling through. As he reached the endhe found himself in the forest of the Lightning Country. Kazzu removed his plate from his headband and put it in his pocket as he put on a brown robe and a Rice Patty hat, disguising himself as a Merchant from the rice fields as he made his way towards the village.

About 10 moinutes underground, Daisuke couldn't take it anymore. He blasted out of the ground and looked around where he was. "Ugh. We better get back to leaf...He started to walk back to the Fire Country.

The Kusakage Demascus was walking through the Forest surrounding the Lightning country in order to look for some tea leaves. He had been walking for some time now with out luck, till he spotted through the trees a mountain covered in fog. He saw another one with a plain on top of that, he was like around when he spotted some figures on top of it which he decided to go talk to. "Maybe they can help me out?" He left to go talk to them.
