So my mum called me 20 minues ago, at 5:51am, and told me to look outside.

THE SKY IS ******** RED!

It is nice to see the heavens declare their allegiance, and I hope we can inspre the same terror in the bourgeoisie that I felt seeing these gale-force winds and a BRIGHT red sky.

Drought on red soil + wind = scary red sky. It is gonna go through the afternoon. I think the last time it happened in sydney was in the early 70's. For some reason it is connected with Gough Whitlam...

Does that mean the ACT has gone fascist or something?

The farmers are ploughing you see, and the wind has blown thousands and thousands of tonnes of sand into the sky and made it hazy and dark grey. It's like China.

It looked kinda like that, but the sky was BRIGHT, and the dust wasn't so obvious. Everything just had a bright red glow.

I assume the bugs were roughly that size, though.

A little bit smaller. They always exagerate things in videogames for dramatic effect, from the size of man-eating bugs to breasts to the swords of spiky haired japanese men.

It was. And I did marvel and quake in terror at the might of nature come to wreak vengeance upon the bourgeoisie. And the sky did glow red and the winds did howl and the city stood still in fear.

A glorious day indeed!
