Silver Sand Beach is named for the fine sand the color of silver that covers the entire beach. Some small boats are stashed here, such as row boats or sail boats. Many people come here to watch the sun set. The Southern Tower stands at this beach, out on an outcropping that stretches for a few hundred feet into the water.
