Rules

This will get more fleshed out I'm sure as the guild grows. So keep an eye out.

1. Don't be a prat.

2. You MUST have your pitch accepted by the president or vice presidents before you can post it in G-TV or it's affiliates.

3. Don't be a prat.

4. OOC posts are limited to the rec room. All OOC posts made outside of the rec room will be deleted.

5. Don't be a prat.

6. English is important here, but posting style is not. How you wish to roleplay you accepted pitch is up to you. Just as long as it's readable and follows basic grammar.

7. Seriously, don't be a prat.

9. The president has the final decision on any and all projects. Show premises can be changed whenever he feels necessary.

10. All shows are required to have at least one commercial break per episode.

How to Pitch

1. Make a thread in character as your avatar in the Main Office with the heading Pitch: [title of your pitched show].

2. You do not have to start the pitch immediately.

3. When a pitch is seen on the board a captain or moderator will reply in character when they can.

4. If you pitch is accepted you can make a casting post.

5. If you pitch is not accepted you can either revise the idea and pitch again, or pitch another idea.

6. People always present for pitches are the President and Vice President. Feel free to mention them in your initial post. The head writer may also be present at his own choosing.

How to Cast

1. Start your post in the Main Office with an summary or outline of your pitched show under the title Casting: [title of your show].

2. You can choose to have either a list of roles to audition for or allow the actors to make their own characters.

3. The auditioner will read and act out some lines of his or her own writing.

4. They can also give us a small summary of the avatar character he intends to play behind the scenes.

5. The head writer has control over who is accepted in audition, but the president and vice president can overrule that decision. (This rarely if ever happens.)

6. People always present for auditions are the president, vice president, and the lead writer of the project. Feel free to mention them in your initial post. The head writer may also be present at his own choosing.

How to Shoot

1. Create a post in the G-TV main thread under the title of your show.

2. The first post needs to be a summary of the show. The second can begin the show itself.

3. Lead writers of the show have free reign over how the writing is handled and how the story is told. The head writer may come in to do edits at his discretion.

4. The president and vice president may ask to make whatever changes they feel are needed. The lead writer will always be notified before hand of the expected change. If the changes are not made the lead writer risks his show being pulled.

5. If the show is canceled the post will be locked and moved to the Dead Air section. The lead writer, actors, and viewers may petition to have the show put back on the air.

6. G-TV must maintain a pg-13 rating. Any shows that threaten that rating may be either moved to G-TV dark or pulled from the line-up.
